The Agile HRB-200 was Agile's version of an Ovation Balladeer.

Don't think I have ever seen on seen the wild. There was also one with the leaf epaulets similar to an Ovation Elite.

I had one of these for a while. Should have kept it. It was a nice little player.

“Should have kept it”

I’ve said that about most Rondo offerings I’ve sold over the years. I can commiserate. Even after I play my more expensive guitars, I still miss my departed Agiles and SX’s, although there were a couple of Douglas’s I don’t miss 😆

Well, if I'm being honest - I feel that way about darn near every guitar I've ever sold or traded off. Only been a couple that I was glad to see go out the door. I especially wish I had held onto that Douglas Gravity, SX Liquid, SX Calisto, a couple of SX Furians and an Agile AL or two that I let slip away.

Oh well, spilt milk and all that.

Exactly, and somewhat amusingly, some of my latest guitars have been buy backs of models I sold off, and in every case, I’ve gotten better examples.

I sold off a rare late 90’s MIK blue Epi Deluxe LP with sparkly sounding mini hums a few years ago, regretted it and picked up another last year in better condition, that was a win! I’m not selling it again.

I had a really fun little natural swamp ash SX Furian that Snarph had tricked out with new switching and some screaming pickups. I've regretted letting that one go for years. Maybe it'll pop up again someday.

I still have my Gravity, just like the one above except rosewood. It is a good player and great growl out of those p90s.
I miss my fist AL, a 3100. Maybe it will come back to me. Also a cv tele....it sounded fantastic!

Now that you mention it, my Gravity had a rosewood board, as well. I didn't even pay attention to the maple neck in that pic.

I had a couple of sweet 3100s that I sorely regret letting go. I do stupid crap and then regret it for years.

ARGH!! I Got that from you in a trade and I STILL kick my ass for letting that one go! I was actually thinking of posting a pic of it here and asking if anyone knew where it went. I traded it to someone here and I think they told me they traded it off too...ah well, as you say, spilt milk.
Without music I'd be lost.

NOW I understand why the seg1 was so special. That seg1 tag line was before my time. No one ever explained the glorious tones it held within. Who's tag line was that anyway?

Not exactly forgotten, but I would like an original model Douglas Hawker. They're priced too high for casual purchase these days IMO, but maybe someday.

Bought the red one and returned it back. Something was wrong with the neck pocket, strings were too far away from the body... I set the pickups at their maximum height and they were wobbling when I played. Not sure how this one passed QA. Got the Douglas SI-13 in exchange and it's my main guitar since!

But yeah, the SEG1 looked really good!

I can count on one hand the number of times I've come across these - the Douglas SNO-686 that I've still got now. I think I remember either one or at most two other AGFers having one back then, but it's not a guitar you tend to see around anywhere. Excellent build quality and a pretty heavy guitar thanks to that centre block (I think mine's a shade over 9lb!), a surprisingly fast neck and the B700 Bigsby & SD JB/59 pickups alone were probably worth more than the guitar, which went for just $325

I knew someone here got it, but I could't remember who since I don't have access to my old PMs anymore. It was a great little guitar. What the hell were we thinking?
