SX CALLISTO STD+ DS B STOCK
$115.00.
THIS B STOCK ITEM HAS A 1" DENT WITH FINISH MISSING ON THE LOWER BASS SIDE OF THE BODY. THERE IS ALSO A 1/8" DENT ON THE HEADSTOCK NEAR THE G" TUNER.
https://www.rondomusic.com/product10723.html
These STD+ and the CUS sound good and warm. My favorite LP copies, including 2 Gibson Tributes. Great for most PAF style pups, IMO. I never kept the stock ceramic pups, but my PAF styles all sound basically warm and full. I think its the "mahogany" they have been using on these. Light, and warm sounding. I think mine have all been under 8 lbs.
My new quilt CUS arrives tomorrow, so will have even more recent specs to share.
For 115$, I hope someone here scoops it so they can report if they agree with my assessment after having bought 4 of these (gave/sold 2 away) and I've bought now 4 other finishes.
Rondo lists these as having maple neck, but all the STD+ that I bought have all had same neck material as the CUS models, which are mahogany. All my neck tenons (long tenons too) look to be same wood as body, in CUS and STD+. FWIW.
I did opt to do fret levels on about 1/2 of mine. Might have been able to get away with doing that less, but I figure I just jump into it and its perfect 4 hrs latter. If theres a couple bad fret heights, or one too low of a fret in first 15 frets, I level the whole FB and ramp down 15-22. So, there is that. Then again, other 1/2 of my Callistos came with no fret level problems.

Time !
And its gone. Took less than 30 minutes, if someone saw it here before on Rondo
I hadnt noticed this thread as an ongoing deal alert thread. It was last night when I scrolled through and saw all the deals I had missed, and then I was cocked to buy the Callisto CUS as soon as I saw it, later last night. Nice to know a thread is working as an enabler, even when the rest of us might be slouching in that duty.

looks like a couple other Callisto's have just been listed.
CUS quilt that I got. , the STD+ b-stock now sold, and , one Red-wine , one GT on site. None have had more than 1 indicated as in stock. Its odd. And 2 newest use SX model names, not Rondo's.

And the price jumped back up to 135$, shortly after. That was the time to jump on it.

Our good friend Kurt Z is selling 3X3 Grover Tuners at $22 plus shipping. It's a great way to make a so-so guitar much better.

I had to look and see if that Grote P90 was out in lefty, but no. While I was there though, I noticed what they called the top: "Printed Maple". Is that what they're calling a photo top?

I just grabbed this Tele from them for $199 w/Free Shipping. What's the worst that could happen? I use it as a possible self defense weapon against a Crack Infused neighbor (not that I have any but one never knows do one?).

Which are notoriously inaccurate. The Prostate is directly correlated to volume of sperm produced by the male human which is the medical professions pretext for obtaining a biopsy hence they "No NOOKY" for at least 5 days prior to the PSA. The Biopsy test in itself is somewhat inaccurate because the number of samples obtained will give you hit or miss results...the Urologist is just sticking a sample needle into your Prostate willy nilly trying to find possible cancer cells. The ONLY really accurate way to get definitive results is thru an MRI.mighty_duck wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 12:48 amAccording to Google, it means Prostate-specific antigen. Having had all of the above, my wife and I (at age 68 next month) have had fun farking with my Urologists head over the last 18 months with widely varying test results due to intra-marital affairs...including a plummeting PSA number by 30% POST biopsy as a result of those activities.
It's ALL about BILLING folks.
This has been a REAL LIFE Personal Experience Announcement.

The Grote single p90 guitars are great for 160/170 too.
The single p90 Hollowbody is the 1st Grote I purchased. I maybe like it the best. Here is the video I posted on another thread one more time. This guy is great.Buddha Pickups wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 10:21 pm The Grote single p90 guitars are great for 160/170 too.Screenshot_20210322-222038_Gallery.jpg

My daughter also has the Grote jazz box. It's a whole lot of guitar for that price, highly recommended.
