This popped up locally and I had to grab it!
I’ve not seen many SE 245 with quilting like this!
The strap came with it, I think it’ll look better wearing a WellHung number

Nice looking. Does it sound nice?
I still wish we had a designated Pickups subforum.
A big part of sound is pups, and many here are modders.
Designated pup section would be a valuable and likely active resource.

Very nice....PRS really has a knack for finding some beautiful wood in all of their guitars, both US and SE. Hope it sounds and plays as good as it looks!

Re Pickup forum - I'll get to it - house move and paid work had to take priority

Gorgeous and IMO PRS SE models are excellent guitars since this one came with a strap I presume it is preowned so was it built in Korea or Indonesia?
Also I recently bought a new PRS Standard 24 that had the PRS 85/15S PUPS in it that I wasn't crazy about so I put a SD JAZZ at the neck and a SD JB at the bridge and I love the sound as well as everything else about the guitar . So $499 for the PRS new from Sweetwater then $145 for the pups new caused me to put my AL-3200 and AL-3010 up for sell. And yours is much much prettier than mine.
Congrats on a fantastic guitar my friend and good luck with the move.

Yes, second hand, was described as mint but someone has added some sort of gum around the bridge - I’ll get it removed and see what the deal is. I had to take it because of the top and the colour.
It’s a Korean built model, I’m trying to research it a bit more, can’t wait to plug it in and see what she’s got!

Looks like it would have been perfect if it was born lefty.
Hehe, I’m glad it wasn’t!!BatUtilityBelt wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 4:14 pm Looks like it would have been perfect if it was born lefty.
Massive kudos to PRS.
The truss rod needs a tweak, the rod is a dual action, but is the Gibson style - a nut on the top.
It's not the imperial size, it's 7mm,
The access slot is not straight, it basically looks like a continuation of the truss rod channel, and therefore it has a 'back' to it.
Ordered a tool from Amazon *cough* - the body is too long, can't get it in to adjust the rod,
Emailed PRS after 2 days of searching, they responded within 20 minutes, and gave me a link to the wrench set - at the princely sum of £24 for 2 truss rod wrenches (USA and SE) and 2 hex wrenches - we all have a billion of those right?
I called the European office, to check that I wasn't wasting my £24, as the listing said clearly, not suitable for SE model lines.
They guy I spoke to in the workshop was super, suggested several other places that I could get what I needed much cheaper, including eBay, but I told him I'd been down that road and could lose £24 and several weeks waiting for many copies of the same thing from Alibaba as I have in my hand right now.
He sucked his teeth, said "Give me your name and address and I'll just put one in the post for you, with the hex wrench for the saddle"
Absolutely top class service!

Thanks for the link @BrianSkeezer
Because I'm in the UK the only ones coming my way without a delay and shipping bill are too long in the body.
Have to say, based on the quality of their 'entry level' series, and the customer service I've had on a 10 year old guitar, they've got a new customer,
Just need to convince the wife that my bonus needs to go to a guitar now
