Damon is that post still up? Sorry I didn't get to it, my family life has suddenly turned to a bit of a sh!tshow, aging parent health issues.
My Pop was flown to edmonton, has an elarged aorta, multiple infections, pneumonia.. but.. no Covid apparently LOL

The Saskatchewan Slough Skink makes a great strap. Out west our version is no tiny lizard... 'bout the size of a large dog, the scaley hide is glittery black in a cool way. Maybe you want a black strap that isn't quite so BLAHCK? This one throws off a few sparks, when the light hits it right. 3" wide, soft, comfy - frickin' gorgeous.

Couple of pics back from Colin out in the Maritimes, who's band Roadside Scarecrow has somehow managed to scare up a gig in these dark times. That's cool in itself, but doing it in Well-Hung style makes it even a little bit better. Here he is channeling a bit of Hank Jr. sporting "1969 Time of the Season", and "Praise the Paisley" straps on his teles

"That blackguard Tele is 10.1lbs, and I was able to sling it for over an hour with no issues." says he.

Romain over in France has done it again. The day "Cowboy Prayer" arrived at his door, he says he decided it was time to purchase this '81 Silverburst Custom - now they are united like it was destiny. Whoa! Seems sort of backwards in GAS methodology, but I ain't complainin' none!

LOOK AT THIS SWEET HOLY GOODNESS!
Like I told him, with crosses displayed on both the front and back of the shoulder pad, he's totally immune from vampire attacks and such.

The weight doesn't feel with your strap, It's perfect... I think you could tag Adam Jones,
If he has some taste it will buy a strap as nice as this one for his LP... A bientôt mon ami"

Also new in the store fresh this morning, a little something I named "BeastMaster XXX" - just a total monster of a strap for a monster of a guitar and/or monster of a man. Why XXX? gotta go to reverb To find out why!

Working on something newish I want to offer at a lower price point. Picture yourself at a biker/Goth wedding, sneak a quick feelz of of guitar case/coffin lining, take two laps 'round the roller rink, add a woggle of hot rod fuzzy dice, then sew it together with love. That gets you "Velvet Crush!"

Image

They don't have to come with biker bling, and will be customizeble with small upcharge. You want a leopard lightning bolt on the pimpin' purple? OK! You want your name stamped into a leather tag settin' on the front in runic lettering, doggone it, sure can!

Also a customer photo back of a custom Stage King on a handmade instrument by Canadian Luthieress Ashley Leanne Guitars.

Some of you may know my pa has been in hospital for over a week now. Scary thing.. old folks head there into those places these days, you might never see 'em again. Anyway, they flew him to Edmonton... and finally got back some kind of diagnosis... something called pseudomona - which is not real good for an older fella with all kinds of other pre-conditions. The medics are trying hard to help him beat it, but this particular bacterial infection is stubborn, and it's one of those mutated things that laugh at modern antibotics. He's a tough old geezer.... he ain't givin in without a fight. anyway, any mojo straplab readers can spare for an old cowpoke, please share.

Look at this ugly biatch swimming around insida him. Man, she ugly!
Image

Have half a mind to tell the sawbones that cowboys always respond best to whisky for medicatin'.. but that'd just prove I have half a mind.

Hey Brad. I just got caught up reading several pages here. Man I love all of this stuff - except for the news about your dad. I really hope that he's feeling better soon.

Fellas sorry few updates here. just helping deal with a real bad family health whammy - The big bad C has reared up on my father, and it's a knarly one. Basically we have a count down started here, but at least we do have some time. Hoping now they will allowed him to come home for a bit before it gets too ugly. Not ready for this, but is anyone ever? One even the famous AGF healing mojo cannot help, I fear. But mojo for limited suffering appreciated.

Much mojo sent. Cancer got my mom, got my father in law, nearly got my dad, hit my aunt, and my cousin. It sucks like nothing else. My thoughts are with you.

Such a terrible thing how he had a couple other problems going on, but once they looking into solving those, they figured out what the root cause was... and they can't fix the others unless they fix this, but highly unlikely... just too much bad going on for much chance of survival. He's doing some reckoning right now.

Jeez Brad, I just saw this and having been through it myself a couple times (mother at 45, father at 90), I know there isn't much anyone can say to make things better right now. It doesn't matter how long or full you father's life has been, it's a lousy deal for everyone...

Sorry to hear about your dad. Spend some time, take care and we'll pray things aren't nearly as bad is it may seem.
Thanks for the shirt and the other great swag like the wall hanger you sent recently. I posted pictures but now I don't see them so maybe it didnt go through.

Ok... @nomadh glad if finally arrived... that was for the endorserment contest draw.
OK... just a pic of an ongoing carve for a birthday gift for a 6'4" fella. Better do a good job or I'm liable to get brutalized!

Image

he's into fantasy stuff... so we went with the shield/sword monogram thing, and dragon scales. for some reason the also bargained
for a graphic of a raging bull that will have blue eyes on the back. Kinda weird, but we're doing it!

You know those dudes that can carve a grain of rice into something cool? This is NOT me LOL
So if I get any shakier, I might have to get a job at the hardware store shaking paint. But, she's coming along...
Customer decided on a dragonslayer scaly motif in green/black...

Image

I like how the bull came to life, but still trying to figure out blue eyes. The blue dye just went black on me.
Probably have to paint 'em on, then clearcoat.

Image

Going to let the dyes dry out. give it some leather treatments, to lock it down them move on to padding, sewing the lining etc.
thinking maybe green thread, but probably safest to go black. they wanted primarily a black strap with green undertones.

Bundled up a strap called "Braveheart" and a few sets of Pro-pins... my own design strap buttons which
are wider, deeper, better.

Image

today in the lab, working on a few new ZAP! "Blackfaces" with the fender silvergrill.

Image

Also got some pics back from Sarnia, Ontario yesterday- TTR forumite showing off a couple of newly Well-Hung guitars... plain black suede auto upholstery on this Godin

Image

Glittery gold, black and grey Mojotone amp grill strap really kick up the look of this sweet P-90'd singlecut
Image

He seems pleased with his new straps, says he's another fella that is suddenly off the chair and standing to rock out due to his newfound playing comfort. You can't see it in these pics, but boththese straps are padded versions of a typical hootenanny strap like you won't find in a store, and 1/2" wider than typical, with heavy duty Well-Hung ABS hardware.

I actually tried rhinestones but even teeny ones seemed too big. I ended with just a wee dab of blue paint

I live in Navajo country, really closer to Apache country but we have more Navajo friends.
Should the need ever arise again look into the glass beads that they use.
Then again I don't know what size rhinestones you tried so I'll shut up now.
