Crickets
Work is crazy, all of my screw off time waiting for other people where I would peruse the forum has been pretty well decimated by our General Manager giving his notice while I was out of the office for training and then people having to quarantine due to a bunch of close contacts over the past week.
10 years, 2 months, and 8 days of blissful ignorance ruined by that snake in the grass Major Tom.
Yep. I'm fighting the Arizona winter and have nothing.
Seriously though, I have to be diligent about keeping my hands moisturized and I have failed for a few days, so my fingers are cracked and I can't play. That is the kind of riveting subject matter that I bring to a conversation.

I just bought new drum loop plugins for my Presonus software and playing with them. I am digging this computer based recording but don't have a clue so everything is a challenge.

I was preoccupied today:
1.) Rebuilding the starter recoil on my snowblower and trying to milk the last out of its 45 year old spark plug.
2.) Clearing the 6" of snow off my driverway, my sidewalks, walkways and my neighbors (they are home bound seniors), in single-digit weather. Today started at -5 with a -21 wind-chill, but warmed up to 29.
3.) Troubleshooting & fixing my other neighbors furnace. Of course the flue pressure sensor gets that little bit of moisture in it and causes the furnace to do nothing but false-start, on the coldest days!
4.) Late lunch and a 35 minute nap.
5.) Some pickup and pickguard work for @golem .

Yup, frigid cold causes boredom. So today I was looking out the window and decided this cushion would be a lot less comfortable than it looks.

Still here but kinda keep to myself these days. I spend much time on the golf course. I play alone most of the time but I am meeting a buddy on Thursday to play Summerfield Crossing down in Riverview Florida. I feel for you guys that can't play golf all year around. My sister if frozen in right now out in Oklahoma.
I am in search of a vintage Gibson acoustic that is not an arm and a leg.

It's very relaxing especially playing alone with no pressure. I usually get at as soon as it is light enough to see the ball. I quickly get out ahead of the first group. It's a beautiful setting, well manicured, serene, and the golf cart is fun to drive. I am playing better than I ever have in my life because I get to go more often. It helps me get my steps in too. Plus chicks dig it.

I thought he rage-quit YouTube because he didn't like his grandchildren reading all the colorful comments he elicits.uwmcscott wrote: ↑Wed Feb 17, 2021 7:46 pmHas Scott Grove come out with any new rondo reviews lately?thepezident wrote: ↑Wed Feb 17, 2021 10:11 am We need some good ole fashion drama...like the good ole days....

Out of curiosity I took a peek and it looks like's he still has a pretty steady stream of how-to/lesson type videos. Looks like he's got a pretty good following and people seem appreciative of the content. Maybe the phase he went through was just that, more power to him for keeping the channel going IMHO.

I am from South Louisiana and stuck at my apartment in Tupelo, MS where I am working at the moment due to weather conditions. Tried to make it to work the other day, but an ice covered road close to work put me on the side of the road. Had help and make it back on the road to my apartment. This Coonass can’t drive in ice and snow. I have been stuck here since Sunday evening and it it is Thursday morning now, but no inclination to start a new thread when you only get a couple responses to a post. I do check in from time to time though. Back to crickets I guess.
