Sat down and this interesting monstrosity came out.
Its very textured and interesting to listen to, I think anyway.

This one is in Open G tuning and I used my Hagstrom Pat Smear for the Rhy and JP100D for the leads. Bass went to the Raiden IV this time around.

Let me know what you guys think.

I like it, especially the initial slow solo, reminded me of a lot of the guitar stuff Higher Octave records would release (maybe they still do?) Big and atmospheric stuff.

If I had one suggestion, it would be to bring the background guitar(? I think its a guitar anyway) a little higher in the mix. Not the rhythm, but there is some cool sounding stuff behind that, but I couldn't always hear it well, but what I did hear caught my attention and I wanted to hear more of it.

Took a close listen and couldn't figure out which part. The intro section definitely is intentional and the rest is supposed to be a haunting/dreamy thing didn't want it to much in your face. But let me know where....

It could be me hearing things that aren't there...wouldn't be the first time :-) I think we're talking about the atmospheric stuff near the beginning, but I honestly thought I heard it through more of the song.

Its likely just me; as I mentioned, my brain sometimes grabs onto parts for whatever reason, and I want to pull those in closer.

And of course, this is art, and I'm not here to judge it, and certainly not suggesting you change anything because of me lol. :-)

Hehe all good. I’m always up for constructive criticism! I am glad the tune drew you in though. I kinda wanted it to do that.

That was epic! Loved the atmospheric soloing... I have no critique on the mix. I think it sounded just right.
Finally escaping the People's Republic of Kalifornia!

Another great tune in need of a vocal track. We've got to find you a lyricist and vocalist!
