Phil Spector was a record producer who was responsible for such things as:
Has died of Covid-19 complications
in prison where he was since being convicted of the murder of Lana Clarkson.
Phil Spector R.I.P.
We'll probably never know exactly what transpired between him and the Ramones, since the stories were never too consistent, but if even half of them were true... Making Johnny play the same chord over and over again for hours, talking to imaginary people on the phone, holding the band at gunpoint to make them listen to him play "Baby, I Love You", the fact that to this day nobody knows who really played bass on the album, you name it.

He was a genius...but his psyche was severely damaged by his father's suicide when Phil was young. All the fame and fortune came....but when you build a huge castle of fame on a weak foundation, it collapses. He lost control of his mind and committed murder. Tragic. Like something from a Greek play.
