I recently got a 2 cd copy of afternoon and evening shows. Plus got a dvd copy, with Cologne concert, too....because I dont have BlueRay which the Hendrix foundation has recently released in a album or CD/BlueRay package..and perhaps
"they" are promoting these clips of their cleaned up film.
Caution, ...I read that their new cleaned version still contains the many distracting edit clips of plants, groovy stuff, etc not pure concert footage.
The original might be the same material, just not cleaned up as sharp.
I see. they included "all cameras stopped" graphics. Thats fair....I must say the original's grainy plant shots looked groovier, but this cleaned up video is very nice to see. I'm not buying a blueray player just for this, though. Thank you for posting this.
Theres some great studio outtake CD's on Dagger Records, an Hendrix EXP affiliate label. Stuff like "The Baggies Rehearsal Sessions" is very very good quality of Jimi, Buddy, Billy playing great excerpts of what would become BOG songs. 2 are previously available from Loose Ends lp. Also "Hear My Music" , And " Burning Desire" are similarly great audio of them in studio,..not bullcrap filler clips,...great playing of new materials that went into songs, or didnt. For 12$ each, those 3 cds are an easy Hendrix euphoria...they sound that good, playing and quality wise. Just an FYI.

"The man that hath no music in himself, nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds, is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils. The motions of his spirit are dull as night, and his affections dark as Erebus. Let no such man be trusted."
