It wouldn't have felt like the real AGF again till pesky got banned, and returned, and probably gets banned again a couple more times and repeats the process. So thanks everyone for moving us along that necessary process. It feels just a little more like the familiar old home already.
Glad you're back @peskypesky.

Sorry.
Sorry.
The other farm cats didn’t super love him but the chickens thought he was alright so he became a chicken.

I just had to take the day off to have my septic pumped. 1st time in 20 years so I guess I shouldn't complain. If it was going to happen this would be the year, right? And you?

Speaking of being banned, I got banned from Parler two days ago.

I've just been chillin' in San Antonio, my hometown. It's really nice being back, even with the pandemic having shut so much down.
I am lucky to have a free place to stay. My mother passed a year ago, and I'm living in her house. I'm going to be one of the co-executors, but things got tied up due to one a-hole sibling and covid. Worked out well for me I guess.
None of my 4 siblings live in San Antonio, so I've been here "guarding" the house and my mom's giant hoard of possessions. I've started collecting her purses to start selling on Ebay. So far, I've found 300. Many with the tags still on.
Haven't been playing as much guitar as I should. But I'm starting again.
I'm healthy and really enjoying early retirement. It's the bomb.

speaking of guitars, I pulled my Xaviere JTT travel guitar out the other day and once again am just blown away by what a fantastic sounding and playing guitar it is. And I bought mine brand new for $99. It's a shame they're no longer available.

I didn't even know what Parler was until a few days ago, based on what I've been told you aren't missing anything worthwhile.peskypesky wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 12:59 pm Speaking of being banned, I got banned from Parler two days ago.

Strats.
6 reworked strats, I'm in knee deep.
All 3 x single coil.
All 7.25 fretboards, all 2-7/32 bridges.
They all play great, different pups.
A few cheaper sets that sound very good, and some pricey sets. Vintage to modern-vintage.
One neck even has vintage smallish frets, which I bought by mistake, and feels great.
4/64ths action and I can still bend full step all over, nfp.

Perhaps you can change your handle to "toomanystrats" ?

And thats not including 3 SX p90 strats, 3 HH partscasters, and 1Jeff Beck partscaster strat that i may get around to re-vamping before long. 1 or 2 of those may sell soonish. Its been the other 6 vintage style ones that I have been obsessed with, and most recently love playing. ( a 6 strat shoot-out is ongoing).Tonray's Ghost wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 8:16 pmpeskypesky wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 3:46 pmWell, you're living up to your name!!Partscaster wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 2:52 pm Strats.

I had to break out an SX LP yesterday to prove to myself that I havent reverted to just playing strats again. And sure enough, it sounded awesome. ...An SX Callisto GT, with Bigsby, with Dave Stephens' HD57' pickups.
Its got a very good Duane GT earlier tone. Dave Stephens dissected a 57 that was dead, to find it was wound with slightly thicker wire, amongst some other specs he is not sharing. I got a pair of them and a pair of his Black Beauty set. My 2 best sounding PAF style humbucker sets, to date. Never tried Throbak, or Chevallier, however.

I think maybe I got banned because I wasn't making enough death threats on Pelosi, Biden, Obama, the Supreme Court, Barr, McConnell, etc.
