Well, my LTD Dv8 goes sharp when I leave it overnight, I've thoroughly stretched the strings, tried new strings, etc.
It's just the slightest little turn of the tuners, every string, so I drop em all down to be in tune, do a few bends to make sure everything's stable, then I have to tune everything back up, basically the exact amount I had to tune them down, do a few bends to make sure everything stays stable, it stays stable. Every. Single. Time/Day.
At this point I dunno what's up, so maybe one of you does?
Guitar's doing an odd thing.

It's possible that the neck is moving just a little overnight. I have that problem with quite a few of mine.

It's a pretty tight neck thru, there's not much audible bend when doing a "country tremelo". When I can get ahold of some wall hangers I'll be sure to put it up every night and see if that fixes it, provided I don't figure it out before then lol.
I'll try to get some pics when the sunlight does it's thing so this thread isn't a total waste

Any drop in temperature at all, often happens at night, will tighten the strings as they do contract. There also might be little gnomes running around in the dark tightening strings, stealing change off your dresser, fouling your tooth brush. I figure you already know this.
"The man that hath no music in himself, nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds, is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils. The motions of his spirit are dull as night, and his affections dark as Erebus. Let no such man be trusted."

Yeah the gnomes could be it, I had hoped they were appeased with the copious amount of underwear I offered them as tribute.
It definitely could be the temperature in that room, generally my whole apartment is pretty trash at remotely maintaining a consistent temperature or humidity level, but that room practically feels like a decent sunroom/closed in porch lol

Yes, the nut slots could be too tight. Be careful as there is a point of no return if you file them too low. Truss adjustment first, then file the nut. There are tutorials out there on how to do this.
You can try pencil lead first or maybe a drop of oil, if it improves, the slots should be properly adjusted.
