My OP faded away but I wanted to share my effort 'cause I worked hard on it. On Sunday afternoon I was on my 27th take when Big Momma said "enough." As usual, one of the original attempts was the best anyway so I wasn't too upset when she cut the power via the hallway breaker box.

Rather than watching 2:30 of me trying to hold my stomach in, I threw in one of my Summer-on-the-Ranch clips.

Background: Thanks to the pandemic, I lost some hours at work but had loads of vacation time built up. A woman I know needed a hand with irrigation and ranch chores so, having zero Ag skills and a crippling fear of horses, I volunteered to help out (my horse anxiety has only grown since then).

The majority of the summer's clips were quickies documenting new-to-me tasks, but on this occasion (repairing four fence rails) I let the camera roll because the epic fail was evident from the first swing of the hammer thingy. Such opportunities should be documented and shared in their entirety. I finally reverted to my baseball swing because it was the only hand-eye coordination for smacking items that I've acquired in 51 years.

Notes:
- I feel that my best amp tone is achieved at 1:00 on the volume knob. Big Momma complained at 11:00 mark so that's where it stayed.
- The Boss OD3... I have "better" OD pedals but I succumb to knob tweaking instead of playing. I use the Boss when it's time to get busy.
- I added a bit of compression when I edited the recording, but that's it.
- My fence repair skills improved over the summer. The trick: pre-drill the rail hole and then occasionally strike the nail head.
- I CG'd some feeble cat content because Mr. Jingles and Ashy Larry were nowhere to be found on Sunday.
- Big Momma is a blessing in my life. I throw her under the bus too often.

Really nice tones Tommy. You are most certainly growing as a player as well. Great work!

I enjoyed the video, Tommy @tlarson58 the music and your playing. You honored your own thread.

Sorry I couldn´t come with anything; I need some time to let the song grow on me for inspiration to come. I´m actually in debt with Narsh with one of their tracks as well.

Time for me to play has been almost none from a while - for a good reason -, so music has not been on my side lately, except in my head, of course.

In fact, I´m hoping to post an update thread on me, since AGF has been so supportive with me.

Take care, you and your family!

PS: My instant connection was with "Rock ballad in Amaj". Maybe someday...
