I always want to know: when the batteries leak out, do they leak acid or alkali. I'm a geek like that. But as long as it doesn't have its own IP address, I'm ok with that. And as long as the next step is not implantable throat effects for vocalists, if I see that, I'm out.

Imagine how cool this would be for a coffee shop duo or something like that... back when those things existed.

It's kind of like that tonewood amp device that sticks on the back of your guitar with a magnet, but built in. I guess why not...looks pretty simple to use and sounds like fun to play around with.

Its a cool builtin. Similar concept to the tonewood add on. Not sure if the tonewood has the looper. I like that idea alot. I think it was yamaha that has something like this also. I believe it only had reverb and chorus but it sure can give you a big tone. I may be getting some sort of add on like this at some point. I don't see me buying a specific guitar to get this just like I'd never buy a specific electric just to get the pickups I wanted. Sort of like people who pay an extra $1000 for the built in car gps. You cant take it to other cars, if it breaks its expensive or unfixable and in the end you buy a portable one thats 1/10th the price with 10x better features a year later . Or it 10x better and included in your phone for free.

Built-in car GPS is the perfect analogy! Also I don't think it's ever just a stand-alone option, it's always offered with a "package" so it's usually at least a couple of grand. And the other components of the package are always just bells and whistles. All of the safety stuff is standard in every range, from the most basic trim to the most loaded.

Pretty interesting. I only see two drawbacks...you can't have 2 or 3 effects on a the same time like Chorus, Reverb and Delay and, of course, it doesn't provide unlimited shots of Vodka. Pity.

I mainly refer to major things like ABS, traction and stability control, airbags. I'm not talking about bells and whistles like backup cameras, etc. It is getting more standard every year but I only meant major tech/mechanical stuff. Although even little cars now have assited braking when they detect an obstacle up ahead. But I don't want to change the topic.

Yeah...I was joking of course....most cars here have safety stuff but Thai society is mot much for safety...#1 or #2 in road deaths for about 5 years running now. All the safety equipment in the world won't save you (or your victims) if you drive like a maniac going the wrong way on the highway...and yes ..that is standard procedure at least for motorcycles. Zero enforcement....and passenger vans holding 15 people driving at 90+ MPH , drivers juieced on red bull and cigarettes....average a major crash at least twice a month countrywide...I have been in these vans on a 'visa run' middle of the night coming home from Laos....pouring rain...90 MPH...zero visibility...all you can do is pray...and push the fat SOuth African guy off you when he falls asleep on your shoulder. It's an experience.
