So a very busy/fruitful day today. Ended up getting three new guitars.
1) BC Rich Mockingbird Extreme- long story short it was a trade that favored me heavily (traded a guitar i got on GC's used site for $500 for this). LOVE the top on this thing. Plus Fishman pickups and a floyd 1000
2) Fender USA Texas Specials Strat. Got this in a trade today for an ibanez i was not playing. This one will most likely be trad bait.
3) 48th street ESP superstrat. Got this for basically half the price of what they go for. LOVE the neck and the bartolini pickups. I thought it would be trade bait but now i can't see parting with it.

Awesome deals! I love that Mockingbird. Never heard of 48th street before, but it still looks like you made out like a bandit.
I believe so. My understanding about these is that they were put together from esp parts. Basically you could tell them what body/neck/ accessories you wanted. Almost like warmoth before warmoth got popular.
I must say the more I look at the mockingbird the more I like it. That color/top is something to behold
Your Mockingbird is truly an 'Exotic' axe.

Some pics of that neck-thru goodness would be nice

A few more pics of the mockingbird. Had a chance to put it through the paces today. I REALLY like to fishmans. Very nice mid range tone, but also with enough balls. I imagine they would cut through a mix very well.
I like the neck on the mockingbird quite a bit. I’ve never been a fan of the abalone but it works well. Purple was not my first choice but it’s a gorgeous Burl top.

Congrats man!
I miss my BC Rich all the time, but it's scale was a bit shorter than my preferred 25.5 inch scale length and 24 frets.
