There was an update to Win 10 and I had not set a Reset Point (shame on me). The last time I paid the bills in September I had no issues opening my Chase and Lawn Chemical websites. I can not open them properly. They look like text sites. I tried both Firefox and Chrome my main browser. I never use Edge but it opens the sites just fine. I cleared all cookies and memories for Chrome for all time. I changed something in SSL and installed and reinstalled Chrome and even dropped back to an earlier build version on Win 10 but still only works with Edge. Again it is not all sites that I have problems with. I tried googling this issue and OMG!!!! I spent a lot of hours and tried some stuff to no avail. I have no interest in a deep dive repair due to something Microsoft did. I also have a Chromebook and it works fine on the sites that do not open properly in Firefox and Chrome.

My current Win10 Version is 1903. Is anyone else having these issues?

Here is a pic of how one of the pages opens properly in Edge.

Ironically Edge is based on the Open Source Chromium. And Chrome tends to update automatically (or if you never turn off your computer it gives you an icon). Sorry I've got nothing for you.

You can uninstall any recent Windows Updates in your Control Panel.

I don’t have any help for you either, sorry. I had to reinstall Win10 on my wife’s laptop about a month ago because the update caused all kinds of weird stuff. And with the latest forced a Edge update, I’m seriously thinking of going all Mac even though the hardware is more expensive...

It is more expensive although in the past I've found the types of things they include stock on the operating system to easily be worth it. I'm not sure what will happen with the change to ARM processors coming up. That's going to be a headache for some people unless they come up with some impressive method so all software that runs on Intel processors works flawlessly.

Ask mickey about Linux

If all you're doing is browsing...why not?
And you can use Google Docs instead of Word etc...

And/or Linux has its own LIbreOffice....

Maybe you forgot to mail your monthly check to Bill Gates last month?

Knock on wood I have been lucky so far with my Windows 10 upgrade on my win7 machine.

I received a warning in email last Friday that the latest Win10 update screws the pooch, but I basically ignored it as I have not seriously run Windoze in decades.

This happened one other time and when I did (which I had done many times before with no glitches) a Win10 reinstall it bricked my laptop so I will just let it ride unless someone has the specific answer.

I have some software that requires Windows or I would dump it as well.

Sorta depends. You can run Virtual Box on a Mac or Linux machine & run Windoze under VB, prepare to be surprised when Windoze runs faster under VB than directly.
Or if that is too much hassle, you can run WINE under Linux and run Windoze apps under WINE.

Just guessing but I'd guess there is something similar to WINE for Mac's.

I am not sure the issue is caused by W10. I have latest update on multiple machines, all browsers running fine. Do you have any ad blockers or other addons in those browsers? Have you run a good antivirus scanner or three?

Also Java is discontinuing their browser plugin - that might cause issues with some browsers and websites. Is your Java up to date on all browsers? (It will be discontinued in December of this year).

At any rate, best of luck with your issue. If you figure it out, please let us know.

Just a tip...you can SORT the Updates by DATE. Maybe try rolling back the last one applied if you haven't already done so?

We run Win 10 on 5 machines here including my DAW. Latest update has done nothing bad to them.

Ok Thx for the tips. I did the following
1) Turned off adblockers and tried to access the websites - still no go.
2) Downloaded another Another Antivirus and completed an additional scan including Malwarebytes again - No issues detected
3) Java is enabled in Chrome Browser but can not tell what version
4) I allowed cookies and pop ups on the Chase Account but still no go.

Maybe it is their website? When I called and asked they got defensive...

Stuff is so intertwined. It might have nothing to do with Win10 whatsoever. I just don't have the energy to spend 10 hours running everything down a checklist anymore.

I had a similar problem with web sites acting oddly. I suddenly got the idea to turn Dark Mode off and viola', the sites worked fine. You might want to try that.

If most other websites are working OK then it is most likely problem with their website.

I see many complaints about W10, and have had a few of my own, some justified, others turned out to be AV or Program or User (me) related.

Running W10 Pro and Home 64 bit across too many machines, my experience to date is this - Though absolutely not perfect wrt functionality, it has been more stable for me han any previous windows version.

I got the update last week and I haven't had any problems with any browser. However, I've always had problems with certain websites on Firefox. I have to switch to Chrome when I go to rondomusic.com and fender.com. On Rondo, only a handful of the pictures ever load, and on the Fender site, some of the functions don't work when using Firefox, but this has been an issue since long before the recent update. I always assumed the problem was on the website's end. I recently downloaded the Brave browser, but I haven't used it long enough yet to make an assessment of it.

It is happening on 3 or 4 Websites that I am aware of. The reason I assumed Win10 issue was I do recall some updates and the problems were using Chrome and Firefox. I was able to access those same sites using Edge Browser that Microsoft kindly deposited on my machine so it fired up my suspicions.

Been trying to keep my life simple so having to use three different browsers doesn't exactly fit in to that program.

Haha... Me neither. That's why I'm checking out Brave. I only switched back to Firefox because I hate Google and it seemed stupid to use DuckDuckGo as a search engine while still using a Google browser (if that's even possible in Chrome, I never tried it). I've never been a big Firefox fan, but it had more security features, and seemed faster than it used to be, but lately it's been reminding me of the reasons I stopped using it the first time. But it's a drag having to replace (or do without) all my plug-ins, and configuring the new browser to my liking, and all that adjustment period, so I've been dragging my feet about it.
