I used to do that on my Epiphone ET-275 when I first got it. It was missing a string, and I put a new one on, but didn't have my cutter, and it triggered my bandmate at the time. When I eventually changed all of the strings, I left all of them dangling.....just to bug him a little (all in good fun). It stayed that way for a long time, actually until I took it apart to refinish it.

Huh, hadn't noticed that, too busy analyzing what he was doing … I agree with The Skeeze—maybe he'd had a string break and did a quick change? Anyways, preferable to cutting it too short and then stabbing yourself while tuning (done that too many times!!)BrianSkeezer wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 6:03 amI used to do that on my Epiphone ET-275 when I first got it.
