So I'm hankering for an Agile Damm Wide (48mm wide neck) AL guitar like the one below.

I really like wide neck guitars and they are so hard to find. Currently I'm waiting for Warmoth to send me the 1 7/8in (48mm) strat type neck that I ordered a month ago. That neck was $300. I'll be putting it on my MIM Fender Stratocaster.
Warmoth was the only neck company I could find, that made a 1 7/8in (48mm) neck. They also offer SS frets which I also like.
So the Agile Al (about $425) for a whole guitar, not just a neck seems like a good deal.
So anybody bought one recently? How do you like it ?
Bye
Anyone bought a new Damn Wide Agile AL recently?

Washburn Acoustic/electric steel string guitar 1 3/4in neck
Fender MIM stratocaster with a 1 7/8in neck
Schecter C-1 Bolt on neck, too narrower a neck rarely played
On the other hand, you have different fingers
Nope, I have no experience with the Agile damm wide guitars. I have/do owned Agile wide neck guitars.
I had an AL-3100 with the wide neck. The neck was nice but the guitar was too damned heavy for me, so I sold it.
I own an Agile AS-1000 Semi-hollow with the 1 3/4" neck (I've no idea how many megalitres that is.)
The AS-1000 will likely be sold out of my estate.
I should imagine the damm wide's neck will be great.

NutBehindTheGuitar i had to read that twice. I thought you were getting a 55 fret guitar!
SS= Stainless Steel.... not fifty-five.

Hey, so how do you like it as a player? Were you looking for a wide neck specifically, or just another Agile ?Lacking Talent wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 8:44 pm I have one. "(Sledge) Hammer of the Gods," I call it.

That's the one! Sounds "huge," "3-D," "heavy" (though is not nearly as heavy on a scale as a lot of AL series guitars, but hangs somewhat heavily on my particular shoulder), and there's a lot of "classical guitar" style room to move around on its fairly flat fretboard, too, but the additional width compels me to get my thumb off the top edge of the neck's bass side and reposition it to the center of the neck's rear, which is not super comfy for me (since I didn't develop that way from the start), though it sounds like you're right at home in those types of environs. I could be persuaded to part with it due to these ergonomic considerations, which are all about my limitations as a player and not in any way about the quality of this awesome instrument.NutBehindTheGuitar wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 12:17 amHey, so how do you like it as a player?
