For those of you who've been around the Agile brand a while...
Other than the fretboard inlays, are these two AL2500 guitars the exact same maple necked "Agile AL-2500 MN Oceanburst Flame" model described on this old product page from the Rondo site: https://www.rondomusic.com/al2500mnocean.html?
Click pic to embiggen, then open that image in a new tab to really embiggen.
Also, is the entire neck maple, or is only the 'board maple?
If the neck and 'board are maple, is that a separate 'board glued to the neck -- e.g., I don't see a "skunk stripe" -- or a single piece of maple with the truss rod channel drilled down on through?
Last question (but it's multiple choice): In this particular case, did "Genuine Canadian maple flame top" as mentioned in bold font on the above-linked product page mean...
-- a solid, flamed maple top (of whatever thickness)?
-- a thin veneer of flamed maple glued to a solid, plain maple top (of whatever thickness)?
-- a thin veneer of flamed maple glued directly to a carved, all mahogany AL-2500 body (with no actual maple top in between)?
Thanks, everybody!

The neck specs on 2xxx guitars went back and forth a lot. AL2000's had mahog necks for a long time, then switched to maple, and back to mahog again.Lacking Talent wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 8:46 pm For those of you who've been around the Agile brand a while...

2xxx guitars are almost always a veneer on top of an all mahogany body. 3xxx is usually a veneer on a maple cap. 3xxxM is a full maple cap with no veneer.
But as we all know, most rondo specs are merely suggestions That's why I wrote "usually" above - some folks have reported getting a 2xxx with a maple cap, and some have reported 3xxx(non-m) without a veneer. But those are exceptions.

I have the 2500 albino with the block inlays and the ash topped body. Outstanding guitar. I got to get it out again. I think mine is all maple neck no skunk so it must be a fb over the neck. Not exactly the same model but I think it'll be similar.

In all candor, I was really hoping the web page mention of "Genuine Canadian maple flame top" meant, y'know, a full-on, thick maple cap (even if with a veneer).

Did you have the light brown back or the later redwash back?
