Google Bots!

As of this morning we have had Googlebots crawling around this website!
Guess we are making a name for ourselves already!

yep Friday morning google didn't have us on its radar but did by late afternoon. I take that as a good sign.

Search Engine recognition is our best bet to get both old members who missed the current changes and links, and new members alike. So YA bots (for once)

I was deliberately searching Google for the new address, hoping to get on their radar.

Once we have to final structure of the website complete I'll generate a Site Map and submit it to the search engines. That will help ALOT.

Of course when changes are made the Site Map will have to be regenerated and resubmitted but that's not a big deal.

Just have to watch for the bots pulling too much, in terms of load on the server, but they need to crawl to get the site on the map, and the activity on the site will be seen as a great thing by the search engines also
