AGF is dead, long live the AGF!
It really effin sucks that my thread over there will soon be toast. I'm not about to recreate all the commentary but I do have all the pics and will slowly start to repost them here as time permits.

Well, trying to upload pics isn't working all that well. I'll have to find somewhere to host them first, just like the good old days. Stay tuned.
They have to be 2 meg or smaller each to upload here.TheIrritableLuthier wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2020 1:37 pm Well, trying to upload pics isn't working all that well. I'll have to find somewhere to host them first, just like the good old days. Stay tuned.

Ok, let's try this again.
Jointed and glue the top and back, sitka spruce and sapele respectively.

The first screw up from my bender fiasco. The wiring shorted in my bender and I had to resort to my untested heat blanket backup. There was too much variation in the temperature and it didn't allow me to get consistent temperature. That's now been adjusted and works well, but this was the result.
A bit of glue and clamping and all was well in the end.

Bracing is now carved and scalloped. Beautiful, if I may so myself.

After radiusing the rim to 25' radius using a sanding dish and fitting the bracing to tie it into the rim it was time to glue the soundboard to the rim in the go bar deck.
