Well, here's somethin' you don't see every day, and for the low low price of $3,000 + tax and shipping. If you play guitar but also slay vampires in your spare time...look no further!

Oh and since GC only has the one photo, Google pulled up the rest of them for me, see here...and of course there is a pentagram engraved in the back of it, because why wouldn't there be?

Today on WTF GC Used Finds
Never thought there would be a guitar that would make a Flying V look like an amazingly designed guitar to play sitting down, but there you go, right here.
Also, it does not appear to have any controls. Not even a single volume knob. And from the description on the website, it sounds like the bolt on neck does not have a truss rod.
Uh....I think I will pass. lol

That's pretty close to me! I used to go to B'ham all the time, not so much anymore. Would love to play it.
Kinda makes you wonder with GC's trade-in policies what they paid for that guitar they're selling for $3k.

Their general rule is about 50-60% of what they put it up for so whoever sold it to them likely got about $1500 or so. It can be a little less for less desirable stuff, or a little more for more desirable stuff...but generally that's the way it goes.

I think that Nergal could play that thing and pull it off. But me, not so much. It would scare all the old ladies at my shows.

Playing that thing would be like petting a porcupine.
What really gets me is the design aesthetic when compared to the rustic horseshoe hinges on the door next to it.

Yes I noticed it seems quite in place in the wiccan sacrifice room.

You really think 1500? I think if someone were to factor in that it will take 10 to 20 years to find that special buyer the $ cost of money would put that number at $240. It's an interesting question.slowhand84 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 03, 2020 1:01 pmTheir general rule is about 50-60% of what they put it up for so whoever sold it to them likely got about $1500 or so. Nobody really factors in much of anything at GC most of the time, which is why I have multiple guitars purchased from them that were $2000-$3000 new that I paid $400-$600 fornomadh wrote: ↑Sun Sep 13, 2020 4:24 amYou really think 1500? They generally do stick to their rules about buying in terms of those percentages I mentioned, GC is quite corporate like that. I can't say for sure exactly what the person who traded it in got, but I would bet it is in the $1200-$1600 range. And of course we may think it'll take forever and a day to find a buyer and I do believe that'll sit unsold for some time, but eventually it'll drop low enough that someone will grab it.
