Just saw this thread for the first time, great looking and IMHO, when I hear oceanburst, that's what it looks like in my mind's eye. I have one of the first new style AL-3100MCCs and while the pictures in the product listing made it look like a typical oceanburst, it had a LOT of blue in it, similar to the pic posted here (I call it the Blue Peeps). Of course, that means a true lefty oceanburst AL is still on my bucket list (along with a true blue flame AL).

As for it possibly having a maple cap, it's unlikely. While I've read of some older AL-2000s coming with them, most likely it's a mahogany cap. At least that's what all my AL-3010SEs have.

I put crème knobs on a couple of my Agiles (including the Blue Peep) but the hardest thing is finding knobs that match the Agile plastic, it's really hit or miss when you're ordering as most them are really closer to amber which does not work at all...

It's a one owner, still mint AGILE AL-3010SE OCEANBURST FLAME DAMN WIDE (the model can be seen advertised on the Rondo site at https://www.rondomusic.com/Agile_AL-301 ... lm_DM.html).

A few of the specs as measured on my example are a bit different from those published, so I'm listing them here for any that might find those small variances to be of interest...

Overall length: 40"
Scale length: 24-3/4"
Body thickness at the edge: 1-15/16"
Width at the upper bout: 9-1/4"
Width at the lower bout: 13-5/16"
Neck taper/thickness at the 1st fret: 3/4" (19.5 mm)
Neck taper/thickness at the 12th fret: 7/8" (21.5 mm)
Spacing between the strings at the nut: 1/4" (7.5 mm)
Overall string spacing at the nut: 1-9/16" (39.7 mm)
Spacing between the strings at the bridge: 3/8" (10 mm)
Overall string spacing at the bridge: 2" (52.5 mm)
Width of the neck at the nut: 1-7/8" (47 mm)
Width of the neck at the 12th fret: 2-1/8" (54 mm)
Width of the neck at the 21st fret: 2-3/16" (56 mm)
Neck radius: 13.7" (350 mm)
Weight: 9.3 pounds

It's an MIK originally purchased just a few months ago, and was built with a center-seamed 2 piece body (that even has some flame in the mahogany back), and what I'm pretty sure is a 3 piece (!) neck. It's solid as a rock, and my heaviest guitar. There may be a maple cap beneath the flamed top veneer; I saw a horizontal seam around the upper portion of both pickup cavities' interior, but did not want to scrape away the shielding paint to see more -- no such seam or join, however, can be seen below the binding anywhere around the perimeter of the body, so maybe not. The seller fitted those knurled Telecaster-style knobs, and I think I'll keep 'em on (for the moment)!

Lucky for me, this baby's a got a lot of Seafoam Green in it (which I love), unlike the stock pic of the model, which photographed as straight up blue...

I'd be very happy with either of those colors but it is a little unsettling that in NO WAY are those the same colors. That is not a good way to sell guitars if you also offer a free return if not as advertised/happy.
The one @Lacking Talent got is not the one he linked to above, but this one: https://www.rondomusic.com/AL3010SEocea ... lame1.html

Rondo had separate listings for the guitars despite both listing the same finish "name"...so no one was really misled or expected one color and got a totally different one far as I can see. When you ordered that guitar, you got that finish. Kurt is pretty known for goofs in descriptions :).
Thanks for posting that info, and I do hope you're right -- 'cause that'd mean there really might be a full-thickness maple top underneath all that flame -- but I will say, mine still has the "DAMN WIDE" neck specs that are not a feature of the (admittedly more green) model you linked to; the link I shared was provided by the party who had originally ordered the guitar, from whom I bought it, so I ran with what I was given...

These -- https://www.amazon.com/Vintage-Forge-Ep ... 07QN8GHPG/ -- were a perfectly pale, ivory-ish match for the plastics on the AL that I've posted in this thread; let us know if you give 'em a try!

The two sets I ordered got here today and they definitely match the Agile crème plastic. The top and sides are actually clear but the crème face shows through well . They're $12 a set but believe me, there's a discernible difference between the cheap $5-$6 sets of knobs and these. Definitely high quality and worth the extra cost...

Thanks again for the link, they'll be going on an AD-3200MCC and AL-3200MCC as it's pretty hard to use the push/pulls with the stock knobs. The crème looks much better with their respective finishes as well...

I'm a little late to the party I got distracted for a few weeks but anyway very nice AL-3010 I bought one a couple of months ago and really like it. I did change out the pups for a set of SD Pearly Gates bot the OEM pups to my ear sounded decent mine seems to also be a well made guitar

Finally gave in to temptation, got back under the hood and scraped away some shielding paint and am glad I did; turns out the body and the top clearly are two different woods!
