Could be an internet thing, too. We all are now so used to cherry picking our "sources", and then sounding off on a select platform while only having to open a web page from home. After years, we are all experts in our own biased minds. Used to be you'ld have to have real work experience and then be interviewed, or write a paper, or go to the park soapbox, or run for office, to broadcast one's opinion. Now, even I can try to pose as some sort of sociologist, on the fly. Plus, we don't have to look anyone in the eye, so we can be more crass or rude.

So true. A concise description of what drives much of the uninformed bias people hold today. The sad thing is, that same technology that allows people to promote their bias du jour, also makes it possible, for those who every try, to find the other side of things, or as I like to say, "the rest of the story" (to coin a phrase from Paul Harvey).

I am not familiar with Indian Jones (is that something out of Bollywood?) but yes, Indiana Jones hat is cool in my book. I've always kind of regretted the abandonment of proper dress up hats as part of suit and tie, because they look great. But probably hard to pull off these days.

Speaking of hats, did you ever notice how in the old Westerns there were different types of hats? There's a definite "good guy hat", there's a silly comic relief (not a villain but not a hero) hat (usually it's a bowler, although sometimes a ruffian might wear one). And MANY different kinds of "bad guy hat" - there's mean rough cowboy bad guy hat. The most dangerous are the bad guys in a "padre" style hat - there's nothing funny about them

Also;
String thru > stop bar > Floyd Rose style trem > literally screwing the ends of strings to the body > fender style trem.


Last but not least, technical skill isn't talent, and the two aren't interchangeable.
