Nah, that’s from back when Kurt was putting extra 4000 truss covers on the 2500’s that wouldn’t sell, and marking them way up!

I kid.

HAHA! Almost got me there.. the official model was listed as a Al- 4000 HSBF Duncan and from my saved web page of it:

Well I didn't get the oft maligned AD2250 and the SJM Liquid with the old headstock which had 5 years of closet crud baked on the fingerboard when I bought it. The 2250 is my favorite to play light comfy and goes from a jazzy clean to a snarly growling rawker.

I never made it past 3 Agiles, though they are 'Glory Days' ones - an 08 3k, 06(?) 3k and 09 2k. As for Rondo in general, I've still got the 10 year old SNO-686 and the STL that I bought back in 09 for the wife who played it about 3 times and passed back to me. I don't think I've touched it (the guitar) since she last decided she couldn't be bothered trying to learn.

Rondo - still have the sale/packing slip and a copy of the web site at the time. Here's some pics directly from the old Rondo site ;)
That's awesome! I honestly don't think I've ever even heard of an AL4000 before your post.

I have 2 at the moment a PS900 and a new AL 3010SE I put a set of SD Pearly Gates in the AL 3010 anyway both look good but the AL 3010 is the to my eye the best looking of all my guitars.

I only now have these two AS-2000's.
I am glad I do. They feel like Al-3XXX in the hands, but lighter of course.

I've only got 2 Agiles still hanging around. Both are 2000-2001 ish LP models and I don't see either of them going anywhere.
