As The Knob Turns Season 2 Episode 10 - **Special End of Year Edition**
Week between Christmas and New Years 2008.

Sixstringwizard08’s parents bought him a Sigma acoustic.

Happy New Guitar Day to Gplayer!! It’s been years in the making but it finally happened. He gots hisself a Hallmark 60’s Custom.

Volkerrock got an Agile w/EMGs in Tribal green finish from Santa.

Heyforrest snagged an SX STL / H /NA.

Hairbag got a Douglas WNO 630BR.

2play took a pawnshop Peavey Mace and slapped a new cabinet together for it.

peachXcore took a swell picture of his feet and managed to sneak in a couple pics of his new Agile AG-3000 as well.

We found out yesca is related to skydog…… Oh, and he has something in common with schecter1…..

Olpainless scored a sweeeet looking AL 3000M. Then he also gets an Ibanez Art300.

Mikey finally scored a 50W single rectifier Mesa Boogie.

And that does it. Overall it was a quiet week. We’ll be looking forward to the outcome of Nick’s contest!!

7. Shecterc1h being banned by Kurt for his “well guys, kurt screwed me over” thread

6. BigPigDave’s 1st annual AGF Get Together.

5. Dextranaught, the guy with the nazi flag in his bedroom calling nrussell’s wife fugly and eventually getting banned. He then created a new nick posing as a female. A love triangle followed for a brief day or two until it was discovered that she…..or ……he …..was really a he…..and..well that one got banned as well.

4. Skydog offering a free guitar to the first taker………………………………………………………………….

3. TheJerk making a guitar out of an allen wrench, 3 strings, some maple twigs, a 2x4 and a cigar box!!

2. Hrhodes proclaiming the SEG1 to be the finest guitar ever known to mankind. He told us so as he manically posted 100+ replies in the span of a few hours. This spawned it’s very own avatar.

Let's see..

1. Yep, the beginning of the legendary NOSEG1NOCARE meme. Funnily enough, I bought one, tried to sell it, and eventually gave it away for free to a kid.

2. Skydog is still around! And though I cant -specifically- recall what kind of guitar it was, I do remember it happening. I think it was even free shipping. What was the reason? I don't remember, perhaps he just never bonded with it?

3. I only met Dave once, but it wasn't at a get together. I went to visit my sister in the hospital (she's fine) and was down his way, on the way back I stopped by! The get together was a bring-your-own-barbeque get together for food and jamming that Dave hosted, probably 3 or 4 years. I think one year they did it twice!

4. If I remember right, the guy kept buying guitars and keeping them for a day or two and trying to return them. It was in the span of maybe two months and the guy had returned like 6 or 7 guitars, and tried to blame shift to make Kurt look like a bad guy about it all.

5. GibsonWho? was a notorious douchebag from back then. He was -always- right about everything and had an intolerable holier than thou attitude about literally everything. He went round and round with various members here, not just Nick. I don't remember the specific incident here, there were a lot. But the thing that finally ran him off was his obsession with "custom" guitars, wherein he would spend $1000 in off the shelf parts and have has own "luthier" "build" his guitars for him, and he would derail threads talking about his "custom built just for me" guitars and how no matter what no guitar could ever be better or more custom than his- the infamous "Swirly Jackson" thread.

6. I don't know, still don't know! I'm still here, 13 years after I joined, so I would hope at least a few people like me!
