Hi guys,
Someone local is selling a "Raven West Skymaster" strat style guitar. It jumped out at me a bit because I haven't really heard of Raven West and I don't have an SSS strat in my collection. He had it relic'd by a company in Arizona, supposedly "has the weight of a Les Paul" and is looking for $350 OBO. Does anyone have any experience with Raven West Skymasters? Looking it up online, it seems a little overpriced. I don't think relic'ing a guitar should add any value to it, personally, but I'm not against the look of this one.
Any thoughts?

If I had something witty to say, I'd put it here.

If I was going to spend around $350 for an SSS strat id be looking at a used Classic Vibe or MIM. Unless this particular one jumps out at you I'd probably pass myself.

Yes I have experience with Raven West Guitars, or RWG. They made some great guitars, and had some finishes that were out of this world, like their famous lizard green guitars. Company had internal strife and fell apart, too bad.
The one I had was a strat, with floyd, it was a great guitar just it had been abused it seems and the neck warped. I think they were usa made, but the electronics were just kinda cheap. I have some pics if you like I can dig up.
Yea 350 definately sounds a bit high for that one. Good luck!
