I briefly owned a Vintage Modified Jazzmaster that I bought about 8 years ago...the frets were awful, it felt light as a feather and a bit cheap (much different than the VM Strat I had at the time, but I still remember the pickups were the most amazing thing I have ever played...I sold it after a month to make room for a 335 type (which I will always regret selling to make room for something or other).
Anyway...it looks like I am headed for this....the only two impediments are (1) the exchange rate here has been cratering...down from 36 baht to the dollar in 2015 to 31 now (Thanks FEDERAL RESERVE...and irresponsible lawmakers)...and the current hit is about $480 bucks..which is almost a 20% premium to the USA price. I hate to get stiffed....(2)....waiting for my second stimulus check...I think it gets ordered immediately because if I dither on the decision.....my cheapo-ness will take hold and stop me.
