I guess I need to post to see what my pic is it's either me at hob playing my agile al2500 albino
Or a great pic with the sun behind me making a rainbow type halo playing our local harley stage with my longtime strat but with a newer mjt ash body. My name is just my name backwards and something I aspire to.

Username is primarily my last name and first name. It actually was assigned to me by the first ISP I used for internet access back in the mid 90s. The avatar is a selfie a friend took of me about two years ago. Other than noticeably older, I don't look much different...

The name I got from watching Mission Impossible DVDs. I just loved the name and thought "well, the next forum I join, that's the name." And here we are.
The Avatar was chosen carefully after painstaking selection process stemming from the fact that I couldn't find my original Rollin Hand avatar, which was the photo used in the opening of the show where Steven Hill or Peter Graves selected the team he would use for the mission. Since I couldn't find that, I went for the current one, which makes it look like Rollin's really excited about something, or is going crazy.

My username is actually a screw-up from when I signed-up on AGF many years ago. I meant to have msc_24 which was my username on other forums, but my num lock must have been off and I didn't carefully review what I typed after I submitted. I just left it. MSC are my initials btw.
The avatar is just a picture I took of my White Falcon with my AC-15 after I got the guitar for Christmas one year. That guitar doesn't sound very good through that amp, but the picture kinda shows what I like. I'll probably change it at some point, but I wanted to re-use it here at first for continuity.

My handle is one of the names that referred to Clint Eastwood’s character in the Man With No Name trilogy. The numbers are from my favorite childhood football player.
My avatar is blank as I haven’t figured out how to re-size photos on my iPhone without downloading another app. Maybe I should do that...

My handle is obviously a tribute to Clapton, who's been a big influence on my playing. The number is my lady's year of birth. And my avatar...well it's the reason I'm selling a whole bunch of guitars in our For Sale section
Lol. Well hey that one at least does have a finish on it. My #1 has no finish at all...hold on to your chair...mickey wrote: ↑Fri Jul 24, 2020 7:21 amWell, to you your avatar needs no introduction.
To me it is the headstock of some sort of off brand guitar badly in need of refinishing.
Incidentally, I agree with you that you don't buy an expensive guitar then start replacing parts.
Expensive guitars should come with first rate everything!
Why are they expensive if they don't???

My name is the first thing that popped into my head when I joined the old AGF in December of 2014 (sobs for a moment).
You know how it is when you join anything: First they ask for your email; then you've got to think of a password; then you've got to think of a name.
"toomanycats" came so naturally to me at that moment, just popped into my head and was tapped away on the keyboard as if by automatic writing on a Ouija board. And so a quasi-legend was born, TMC, the bearded one, author of lengthy diatribes, pillager of pawn shops, molester of grandmas, wannabe blues-scholar.
My avatar is me reclining in a Louis XV bergère, my feet on an ottoman, playing a Gibson Maestro guitar while I contemplate what kind of gas inducing NGD day posts, informative and stimulating conversations, and other crazy shit is going to go down on AGF tonight.
I love you guys! Every single one of you. I mean that sincerely.

The first forum I participated on (World of Outlaws) was one where you didn't have to, or perhaps weren't able, to register. If I had needed a password it would have been a simple one I could remember, as I had no password manager. I was using Two Door as my user name.
So along about '02 or '03 I decided to respond to a post on Bob is the Oil Guy, and needed to register to do so. Thinking my username would be the password, and that I wasn't going to be posting often, I wanted something similar to what I was already using and would be able to remember. As I hate selling vehicles, TooManyWheels was an obvious choice. So if you are on BITOG, Garage Journal or Colorado Fans, those names are mine.
Well, as someone figured out on the old forum in one of the Tokien threads, Bleys is a reference to Prince Bleys of Amber, from Roger Zelazny's Amber book series. Bleys and I both being redheads, it stuck. The 21 is my birthday, which just hit this week (ugh! I'm 50 now!?!?)
And to date myself, I first used that handle on AOL, and had to add the 21 to the end because someone else had beat me to the name. :-/
And my avatar is Bill the Cat. Musician. Presidential candidate. Fur ball flinger. ACK!

My user name is my name (Sabas) with my two last name initials, and the year I was born. A picture of me, a Rosary, and one of my dream guitars (ad3200) -the other one is the AL3200, mainly because of the upper fret acces and the LP shape-. The info on the side was taken from the old site just before the abduction.
I may change it, though.

Many years ago I was at a Portland Beavers minor league baseball game on my birthday and a big bear was walking around with kids hanging all over him.
Having donned a mascot costume or two in my life, I knew that he was 1) sweating his balls off, and 2) ready for a beer (it was late in the game).
I had just purchased two and jokingly offered him mine, which he accepted and then slyly pounded. He gave me a big bear hug (pun intended), whispered "you're my hero" and then left, never to be seen again, with 10 kids trailing behind him asking him if they could have a hug, too. Poor guy.
Great birthday, fond memory and funny pic.
Tlarson is self explanatory and 58 is short for 158, my college wrestling weight class. 58 is part of just about every username and email I've ever had (easy to remember).
I'm a long way from 158 these days.

“Cyphre” has been my online handle in video games and forums for over 20 years.
I used to play “Rifts” tabletop RPG and it was the name for my “TechnoWizard” character.
I used it later in the “City of Heroes” MMORPG for my dual-pistol wielding super spy/agent character.
I found the word (cipher) and symbol, “Ø”, while looking through an old book about symbols and their meanings.
I had the symbol tattooed over a scar on my right deltoid 25 years ago. It has taken on a personal religious meaning for me.

My username is my initials plus "gearhead" , which is an accurate description, whether it be cars or guitars. My avatar is a SX J-Bass with a generic replacement neck.
Otis B. Love is the stage name I came up with when I was 18 or 19. (I’m 45)
Apparently every photo in my iPhone is bigger than 29 KiB, so I don’t have an avatar.
I don’t know what KiB is. I don’t particularly care to know what KiB is. It’s not a problem I’ve run into on any of the other forums I belong to.

Firstly, experience...the contrast between meeting him and meeting Dio was unfortunately night and day. Meeting Ronnie was amazing, he was such a warm and friendly person and really treated every fan with respect.RiverDog wrote: ↑Sat Jul 25, 2020 11:00 pmWhy do you say that?slowhand84 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 24, 2020 6:08 pmI love Vivian's playing so much, it's just too bad he's such a colossal A-holeRiverDog wrote: ↑Fri Jul 24, 2020 10:34 am I took my username from one of my fav bands, Riverdogs. Re: meeting VC...my friend was kinda just starting out as a guitarist at that time and really idolized him, at a meet and greet he got an autograph and asked him a question about the gear he was using at the time. He not only gave my buddy this really nasty sarcastic answer but actually made fun of him out loud in front of the whole line of people as he walked away. It's been literally years and my friend still gets upset when he tells this story, because someone he revered was so nasty to him for no reason whatsoever.
And then of course there's the amount of trash talk he's lobbed Dio's way over the years, despite Dio essentially being responsible for jump starting his entire career.
Long story short, great guitar player...not a great person.
