UPDATE

I heard back from Kurt this morning and he said that there will be a lefty P90 Gold Top AD-3200MCC (and possibly a P90 Gold Top AL-3200MCC) added to the production schedule. Whether that means it will be replacing the CSBF one or on a future production run, as usual it was hard to determine from his response so I replied asking for clarification on that...

UPDATE

I heard back from Kurt and while he will be adding a left-handed P90 Gold Top AD-3200MCC and AL-3200MCC to the production schedule, I get the impression that he doesn't have a lot of faith that the factory will actually be able to come through. That goes for the lefty CSBF AD-3200MCC as well:

Yes, but I cannot 100% guarantee delivery before year end - everyone has shortages now with factory stuff reduced due to covid....

Kurt

The worst case scenario is that sometime in the future we should see all three...

I’ll be looking forward to the AD-3200 and AL-3200 Gold Top no matter when they come in! Can’t get enough of that combo. Thanks for all the leg work on this!

Bug him again about the backs being not only too dark but mostly a very cheap redwash. I like a lighter mahogany but I think most people would like this fine

This is off a '13 gibson studio deluxe heritage CSB model.
If Agile dark backs looked like this I think sales would kick up.

I never understood the love affair with those dark cherry backs either unless the top also had red in it. A while ago, someone here had emailed Kurt suggested the lighter finish and he replied that minor flaws too easily showed which resulted in an inordinate amount of returns. I'll ask about a mahogany wash going forward but it will be too late for this production run...

Well hey, I'd love to see a P90 gold top in either model, so I'll wait and watch. Thanks for digging into that with Kurt!
