That is ridiculous.
I have a mildly stained roll of Tone-Toilet Paper from the Gibson Kalamazoo factory from 1959...it's yours for $10k. The pork and beans stain is the original "Brown Sound".

He had quite a few Fender necks that he said were from a former Fender/G&L employee. It seemed a bit odd.

There's a few listings like that. Strap buttons from a 58' Les Paul, $500. If they were the same for 20 years how do you know they were from a actual 58'?
