There's a Nashville set on Reverb that i was thinking about for a b-stock SX Tele I recently picked up. Anyone have any opinions or insite?

I suppose I could post on the usual Tele sites but thought I'd ask here first. TIA...

I dont know about those.

FWIW, I have just ordered an interesting noiseless set (neck/bridge) of a mini-humbucking, single coil-ish sounding, model made by an Australian winder called Mr Fabulous, or D'Urbano. Both the same guy. Those Phoenix have some good growl and a hum/single cross tone, IMO. I'll find out later.

He has good vids of his Phoenix minihumbuckers x3 in a strat, and x2 in a tele... if noiseless single coil sound is the aim.

Also his Firebird pickups....made the right way ..sound good.

His videos on his yutub homepage seem like good sounding pickups. Is on reverb, and has his business site.
I'm getting a couple sets including the 2xPhoenix set to put in a strat.

I don't love Fender's Noiseless Designs but I don't think they're unusable either. If you wanted something better for about the same price you could try Bill Lawrence's work:

You could contact them for an atypical set like something that would work in a Nashville. They're a small shop and would likely accommodate you.

They're perfectly decent pickups but when you're talking $150 for a set there are MANY sets I would choose for a tele instead.
