Firefly Double-Neck

I pulled the trigger on a Firefly double-neck to scratch an itch I’ve had since I was a teenager.
Build quality is what you would expect. Overall shell of the guitar is quite good. Nice fret work, good looking, plays fairly well. Nice case included for the $400 price.
Tuners suck. Not an issue on the 12-string neck since it isn’t conducive to bending. But I’ll definitely have to replace them on the 6 neck. Pots and switches are ok. Wiring looks like a middle school project. Truss rod on the 12 neck feels like it could slide right out of the neck, but still seems to adjust the neck…
I already swapped out the pickups and changed strings while I was at it. Buddhas on the 6, GFS on the 12.
I was holding it up to a spot in the entertainment center where I hang guitars. I was just checking whether the body was too wide to fit. Lo and behold, it fit AND rested quite sturdily on a single hanger between the two headstocks. Posted a pic on Facebook and people lost their minds about the peril they thought I was putting the guitar in.
Not only was it very stably hanging, but guitar necks aren’t particularly prone to that kind of movement. I understand not being familiar with a double-neck and not realizing it, but having one in hand I gave it a feel. The necks are super solid in that direction…like an I-beam.
Anyway, no need to quibble further about the matter. I just thought it was cool that a double-neck can hang on a single hanger. I have no intention of doing that on the regular.
Let me know if you have any questions. I was definitely curious about this model before deciding to buy one.
