I need some help i must be blind so tell me what color these pickguards are

is the one installed on guitar red or brown tort?
and
the loose one is it red or brown tort?

they came from same seller so not different brands

brown tortoise in guitar, and red tortoise is loose
some retailers label them backwards, so you got that too.

To my eye the installed one is brown and the other is red.

well everyone was wrong just like i was there both red tort :shock:
from same seller 2 weeks apart, I told them and sent pics showing the difference well they dont care just said send it back u dont like it, not there fault its mine :lol:

in case you deal with another seller, you can google "brown tortoise pickguard" and see what images show up.
I tend to like red on my 2tsb bodies. Brown looks good on natural finishes. I've gotten the switcheroo too. I'm not buying it.
