You'd think there would be more Youtube videos about these, but I've only seen a few. one in particular makes these sound Fanatastic! Any experience with them here? Especially through some dirt? I have a Fender Tele FMT that came with a Seymour Duncan 59 neck and Pearly Gates bridge... absolutely LOVE the 59, the PG not so much. Looking for some hotter PAF style that will compliment the 59 without the harshness of the Pearly Gates. Running through my Friedman Pink Taco 20 watt all tube head and EVH 2x12 cab.

I have had a couple sets of their Retrotron style pups in the past and they are pretty good. I actually still have a Tele I built with a set in it. I have not tried anything thing else they offer. Their products are affordable and tend to get favorable reviews.

I've wondered if somehow, we were able to get our hands on the old site database, if it would even be possible to integrate it into the current site's backend...solteroblues wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 11:42 pm

Never had a Crunchy Pat.
I do have a GFS Zebra humbucker in a guitar and I love the way it sounds. I think it might be a Fat Pat.
I'm almost always a single coil guy (and that includes P90s), but the GFS pickup is one humbucker I really dig.

Is the old (mo mo site) still functioning? I never got an account it when it moved there.tobijohn wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2024 12:13 amI've wondered if somehow, we were able to get our hands on the old site database, if it would even be possible to integrate it into the current site's backend...solteroblues wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 11:42 pm

I have a Fat PAT in a guitar, and it's one of my favourite pickups: Raucous but not harsh, with a hint of "brown."

By the specs, it is a Duncan JB or Duncan Distortion knockoff.
If you still want PAF territory, use the 'neck' version for the bridge.

I just don't want shrill or harshness. I want something to give me some good gain with clarity.
