So, I haven't been on this board since the former agileguitarforum change. I was "oldguy" back then and couldn't log into the new forum so I just registered with same login as old forum, but is showing me with zero posts. Anyway here is what I got on Facebook marketplace if anyone is interested.

I have the Agile AS-820 for sale with local pickup because Rondo's Douglas hardshell case would add so much weight to shipping it would probably be far more than the AS-820 is worth. I could ship it with gig bag for $325 plus $40 shipping.

Since you were 'oldguy' back then shouldn't you be 'olderguy' now on the new site ? 😂

Well I was oldguy in my 60s back then. Now in my late 70s, and still oldguy. My next username going forward might be deadguy. ;-)

I love that guitar! Can't drive there, though.

ImageOn a related note…
I bought an AS-820 seven years ago. Modified it right away with a set of Buddha humbuckers. I didn’t do work myself on guitars at the time so I had it worked on at Mike and Mikes’s Guitar Bar. I gave them free reign to swap out any of the signal chain they thought looked too cheap. They changed pots, caps, and wiring. But they felt the switch was worthy of keeping. lol

Anyway, it played great, but I struggled to fully bond with its tone.

In the ensuing years I have learned that either I prefer the way Korean-style harnesses sound OR possibly that’s just the style of gear I have built my tone around.

So when I play a USA Gibson or Fender I tend to find the tone and volume sweep to not work with my sound.

Anyway, I took my AS-820 to band practice on Friday and used it properly for the first time in its life. It’s interesting how much of a difference it makes to be playing in a loud band setting…that’s where the USA spec pot/cap combination really comes to life.

The guitar performed brilliantly and I got rave reviews from my band mates about its tone and beauty.

Yes, the AS line is pretty special. I don't have an 820, but I love my AS-1000 ( please excuse the bad pic).
