I've definitely wanted an AS1000, but not enough to pay that much in that condition. But perhaps someone will feel different.

Saw this one too, just can't justify two of 'em and I have a custom shop AS-1000 that is my favorite Agile of all time and it was $199 at GC so this is more than double that price. Would be a good buy at $300.

Oh, but the "lefty upcharge" on the AS-1000 gold top was well worth it because the lefty GT came with a few extra features like
U.S. Bigsby, roller bridge, etc. :D

I think $460 shipped with case is fair and would gladly pay the price. I paid about $400 for mine new back in 2008 or 2009. Call me crazy but even used I think they’re still easily worth that. If I was still single and had money to throw around, I’d probably buy it.

I tend to agree - and if it had been any color but gold I would have put in a fair offer. And it looks like someone else had similar thoughts as it sold. I hope you didn't get divorced, but if you found some money to throw at it that's a good thing ;-)

Haha Image ya I didn’t buy it. In another time or place maybe. I have too much restraint i suppose, and too little extra cash. Lol.
My lady probably would have said “don’t you already have one of those?” I would defend the color as though it makes some huge difference and she would undoubtedly be confused. She’s very cool about my gear habits though. Most of my guitars are on display around the house at her insistence.
Anyways, Congrats to the buyer.
