Firstly, I don't know if $3000 is a "deal", but I thought it was interesting enough to repost. Never heard of this model before, and it hardly looks like a Fender at all, but apparently they are quite well regarded.

I've never seen one of those either, definitely not very fender-ish. Don't think neck dive would be much of a problem with that bridge!
The headstock looks like a combo of Heritige and Agile.'
Here's one on the verb for about half that, albeit without the boat anchor bridge/trem

Looks like Robben Ford played them and had a signature model too

Never saw these before. Certainly has the look of the Fuji-Gen factory.
A Fender that looks like an Aria Pro II . . . that's trying to look like a Gibson . . . that's trying to look vaguely like a Fender. Weird! But strangely attractive.

I did know there was a series like this because of that Robben Ford model you mentioned. I don't recall having seen that bridge either.
Edit: The name hot me a bit after I posted. I thought they were called Espirit. Apparently it was a related model.

Have always thought the Flame -- with both a slightly narrower waist and smaller/shorter treble horn as compared to the Esprit -- to be a perfectly proportioned and devastatingly attractive double cutaway electric guitar body shape (for right handers).

These are fairly hard to find and are indeed well regarded, but that price is hilarious. These typically sell in the $1000-$1600 range. Here's one that went for under $1000 four years ago, granted it's not in as great condition as the one on CL but yeah $3K is dreamland:
