Ran across this on Slickdeals today - looks like they've been running some of these sales for a week or so on Gretsch Streamliner models. Several under $300 and a couple of them closer to $200. I played a few of these at a local shop a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised with the Price/quality ratio even at regular street prices

I got a few Gretsch's this winter that I'll have to post about eventually.
Adorama had some great deals.
I scored a great one locally with a case.
And a nice one from an old friend here on the forum too.

Impressive deal for such a name. I love my small bodied casino coupe and its resonance. This being a solid block I'm expecting it to be much more solid feeling and I'm not a big fan of the stubby ears.

I have had two Gretsch semi hollow guitars and both were spectacular players. My 3140 saw a ton of action with The Tonebenders. There were many gigs where it was the only guitar I used. It would cover anything well. That model is harder to find than hen's teeth.
