Just snagged a three year old Dell T7910 Dual Processor Xeon E5-2660 V3 running at 2.6GHz, with 20 CORES, a 512GB M.2 Drive and 32GB DDR4 Ram off Fleabay!

Includes Win 10 Pro License and I upgraded the Ram to 128GB for $300 and the total cost was $1,274 shipped!

Once here, I'll clone my current T5500 Boot Drive and move the other drives over to the T7900. Pro Tools will run quite nicely on this new system.

I expect to never have to buy a PC ever again :).

Looks nice! I’ve been thinking about upgrading my DAW computer for a while now. Debating on getting a used MacBook or a new pc tower.

"Whoa unto those who would dare look unto...THE BELLY OF THE BEAST!!!"

Remember I paid an additional $300 to upgrade the Ram to 128GB...all 16 slots loaded with 8GB sticks each.

The Ram is located UNDER those two black covers and any heat they generate is blown out the back by front fans.

This machine can see as much as 512GB which is insane.

Cloned my old Win 10 Pro Boot Drive to the 512GB NVE Solid State Drive, and a 1TB Hard Drive to the included 3TB Hard Drive.

My 4 other SSD drives I just plugged right in. Took me about 4 hours to get everything up and running and it booted clean first try.

ALL the drives, except the NVME which sits on a card plugged into the motherboard, installed in drive trays and inserted into a
pre-wired drive bay in the front of the machine that has a door that opens with one finger.

Data transfers between drives is ridiculous, Pro Tools is running incredibly fast and "The Beast" is so quiet you can't even tell its on.

I AM NOT WORTHY! :)

Great you got it up and running at first try!

That´s certainly a beast. In theory, you should not be worried for another replacement for a good while.

What graphics card does it have?

Hope you enjoy it, Master!

That's heavy stuff...with the dual CPU's it's faster than any single-CPU out there even now...and that RAM amount means pretty much any kind of project will fit in RAM so disks will hardly be used except for load and recording...sweet setup!
