8/16/20 Home Studio Reorg!

Shuffled things around doing a reorg. Moved a TV from the Living Room to the Studio
and added it as a second monitor. That way I can have my Tracks on the desk and Mixer
on the second one. Both TVs are LG so I can turn them both on at the same time with
only ONE remote. :)

Note the Katana Head and 2x12 Cab as well as "The Herd Of Axes". There are a few more
in the closet but I ran out of space and guitar stands!

The Axe in the black case against the wall is a 2017 Gibson SG Standard in Pelham Blue.

"The Herd Of Axes" is a mix of Agile, SX, Epi, PRS and Gibson guitars with a Grote 335 I got
for $160 shipped but have not had the time to even plug in yet.

So the question remains...."WILL THE CONSTANT GAS EVER END?!?!?!?"

GAS never ends. I have way too many guitars for my needs, and I damn near bought another on Friday. I have to do some clearout for my own mental well being.

My reaction is counter to what this Forum is all about. Having been there all I can say is long live my purge. I am definitely happier with a handful of guitars now. But that is just me. Nicely arranged!

To do a "reorganization" you have to be "organized" at sometime. Twill never happen here. Unless you count coffee cans full of nuts, bolts, washers, wood screws.

Love it, Patrick LightWingStudios ! Nice place.

I was afraid to not see your gorgeous blue AD3000, but if I´m not wrong, it´s the second, left to right, in the multi guitar stand?

WTH is that monitor?

What’s the size (size matters) and the make?

No.

That said, you have a lot more toys than I do. :P

They're both LG Televisions connected up to the PC via HDMI ports on the 6 GB Graphics card.

The one on the desk is 43" and the other to the right is 48". :)

The graphics card software allows me to "stretch" the single Win 10 Pro desktop across both monitors.

Pro Tools is weird tho...I had to "stretch" the Main window across both and then open the Tracks and Mixer windows separately inside the Main window.

Once I figured that out I saved it as a Template for future recordings. :)

Sweett...To me it seems everyone is a wizard of cable management. My studio always looks more like those telephone cables in war-torn middle-eastern countries...cables hanging every which way and some far too short and have to be run across the floor or whatever, while others are in bundles with their excess length. And tools and such lying everywhere...a few times I've done my best to sort the cables better, but whenever I do, the next day I have a need for just that cable that's now bundled and tied up and have to dismantle the whole shebang...

I'd have to go and measure and list and go spend hundreds of dollars for better suited cables to have any kind of a chance of managing them nicely...
