Agile Harm 1 - when did production stop?

I have an older Harm 1 I bought, during the heyday of Harmony-Central.com, and am considering selling it. I bought it directly from the old store in New Jersey, so probably 7-8 years ago? I've seldom played it, not a scratch or issue with it, 6lbs, 11oz. I really have no idea of value these days, or when it stopped being made. I don't see any on Reverb or ebay.
First post here, so it might appear spammy, sorry if so. Right now I'm just selling locally, I have it at $225 with a few extras thrown in, and I need to buy some sort of case for it, or $175 just the guitar. Fair price, too much, too little?
Any guidance would be great.

Not sure when they stopped production, but that price seems perfectly in line to me. You gotta check sold listings on Reverb, there have been many and most recently it looks like an unmodded one is going for about $200-$250 so I think $225 is just fine. $175 would probably be a bit low assuming its in great shape, though I did grab one from GC for $120 a few years ago.

Welcome to the forum! Beautiful guitar. Stick around and we will talk you out of selling it.

Thanks Slowhand84. I felt the price was reasonable as well. Biggest pain in the a$$ lately is the shipping costs. I've been raked over the coals, even when I set the price fairly high. And $100 or so for a guitar that isn't much more than that seems silly. But I had been going to a FedEx packNship place - they did really nice work (I often got more compliments on the shipping than the guitars!) but it comes at a cost. Maybe I'd go back to USPS if I can find an inexpensive box to ship it in. I even had another local FedEx shipping place that wanted $75 - for the freaking box.
I used to score on CL all the time. Kept my prices low, always had good experiences, but it doesn't seem very active in the last couple of years. Tried FB Marketplace for the first time, met someone locally that suggested I visit this forum for Agile fans. I've had a few other Agiles in my time, nice guitars, good value. The Harm was significantly lighter than my older AL I had - a bit of a boat anchor, but many LP's are, especially older ones.

Ha, maybe! I have a bit of a PRS thing going lately. But I gotta pay off one bill first, before I can get another one - the wife is on to me.

Am I wrong that the NJ store went belly up longer than 7-8 years ago?
The Harm is my favorite Agile of all time. I think I've played it more than any electric guitar that I own.

It could be closer to 10 years or so, you might be right. I think they relocated to NH shortly after I bought the Harm. No state taxes in NH, I'm sure that didn't hurt.

Are you still located in NJ?

I believe I bought the final left handed one off the website around Thanksgiving 2017, but they could always come back...
Your price would be right about where a really nice one should be. I think I paid $290+shipping for just the guitar. Cases at $50 is what I ask for if they are clean regardless of brand.

Me? I am not, I'm in Ithaca, NY. I just happened to be on a business trip and made the visit to the store when I was in the area.

I think Mozz was in hope of scoring that beautiful Harm of yours.

Just replied to your note. I suddenly had two other people inquire as well - we'll see. I think Oswego is about 2 hours from here, somewhere around Syracuse could be half way, but I'll double check. If you've never been to it, you should check out Ish Guitars in Syracuse - although they recently moved into a new location, haven't been there myself. Hold on to your credit cards though there...

Not in the market because I am a lefty and already have a Harm, but I will weigh in. Your price seems low. If it was lefty, at that price I might buy it just to flip it. If you price it higher, you can always accept a lower offer, but if you price it too low, you're just stuck to that. For anyone else interested, Harms are great and unique guitars!
