Talking with someone, we were wondering which Agile model is the favorite of the majority of people.

I've had a 2000, 2500, and 3000 all AL models. The 2500 I got from Spike was the best looking and sounding of the lot.

This was a tough choice for me as it's a near toss up. In the end the AD won for 2 reasons p90's and weight.I've got a 2500 a 3010 se and a 3100 the 2500 is last place 12 pounds and no real stand out on the positive the 3100 is exactly what I want in an LP type maple over mahogany ebony board maple walnut neck and buckers that sound sweet. If it was 8 instead of 10 pounds it probably would beat out the AD2250.

AD and AL nose to nose, but in the end I voted AD because of upper fret access, and, symmetrical DCs have a thing on me. Of the AL line, only the AL3200 has better access. If poll would have presented 3200 model (AL or AD), that would have been my choice. Because I love the LP SC shape too... ;)

Uh, no. This isn't about 2000 vs 2500 vs 3000 vs 3100 vs 3200, etc.
It is about AD vs AL vs AS, etc. :D

The AL is what brought me to the orignal AGF and still my favorite model. I like most of the others too but if I had to have just one it would be an AL - ideally a 3100 from the mid-2000's.

I'm guessing the AL will win just because that's the go-to with Agile...I would bet the ALs probably account for like 60% of Agile sales if not more. For me it's a really close race between my AL-3100 Silverburst and my custom shop AS-1000. They're VERY different guitars, so it makes it challenging to pick a winner. I guess I'll give it to the AS-1000 today since that's the one I'm playing...but tomorrow it'll be the 3100

Al is how I found this place and is a standard but good les pauls are getting to be a dime a dozen around now but a good lp doublecut is a gas inducing rare beast and I just can't believe Kurt isnt cranking out 5 to 1 AD to AL and owning that market like hes doing to erg.

Well, since I could only picK 1 (geesh, do you want us to pick our favorite kid too?), I chose the Harm but the old AD was a close second.

I really liked my AL's,...but they have moved on. I would have to say the AS2000 is my favorite. Perhaps identical body shape and neck to the AL3000, but is a semi-hollow with solid mahogany back and sides, and solid maple arched top. Still have 2 of them.

I voted the AL as out of the Agiles it's my favorite model. Out of the AL models I like the ones with mother of pearl inlays best.

Of course out of all the Rondo guitars I've owned (Al-4000, 2 AL-3100's, SX STL-P90, 3 Douglas Spads and a Douglas Gravity P90), I like the Douglas Spads the most.

Wait a min! The AD models are the double cut LPs. There is a D in the model #. Why are these 201s an AD model? Why or how are these 201s and say an ad3000 even related models? This is very upsetting. I think I'm being triggered.

I voted non-guitar-y multi-stringed thangs. I actually really enjoy my Septor 7 since the electronics swap.

You really need to have the series number listed, as an AL-2000 is vastly different from an AL-3200, or an AL-4000.

My fave Agiles models are the:

Harm, AL-3200
My playing is always better after some good beer
