Got hold of this yesterday!

It's a one owner, still mint AGILE AL-3010SE OCEANBURST FLAME DAMN WIDE (the model can be seen advertised on the Rondo site at https://www.rondomusic.com/Agile_AL-301 ... lm_DM.html).

A few of the specs as measured on my example are a bit different from those published, so I'm listing them here for any that might find those small variances to be of interest...

Overall length: 40"
Scale length: 24-3/4"
Body thickness at the edge: 1-15/16"
Width at the upper bout: 9-1/4"
Width at the lower bout: 13-5/16"
Neck taper/thickness at the 1st fret: 3/4" (19.5 mm)
Neck taper/thickness at the 12th fret: 7/8" (21.5 mm)
Spacing between the strings at the nut: 1/4" (7.5 mm)
Overall string spacing at the nut: 1-9/16" (39.7 mm)
Spacing between the strings at the bridge: 3/8" (10 mm)
Overall string spacing at the bridge: 2" (52.5 mm)
Width of the neck at the nut: 1-7/8" (47 mm)
Width of the neck at the 12th fret: 2-1/8" (54 mm)
Width of the neck at the 21st fret: 2-3/16" (56 mm)
Neck radius: 13.7" (350 mm)
Weight: 9.3 pounds

It's an MIK originally purchased just a few months ago, and was built with a center-seamed 2 piece body (that even has some flame in the mahogany back), and what I'm pretty sure is a 3 piece (!) neck. It's solid as a rock, and my heaviest guitar (NOTE: reweighed it several times on different scales, consistently comes in at 9 lb even -- guess the seller's scale wasn't 100% accurate). There may be a maple cap beneath the flamed top veneer; I saw a horizontal seam around the upper portion of both pickup cavities' interior, but did not want to scrape away the shielding paint to see more -- no such seam or join, however, can be seen below the binding anywhere around the perimeter of the body, so maybe not. The seller fitted those knurled Telecaster-style knobs, and I think I'll keep 'em on (for the moment)!

Lucky for me, this baby's a got a lot of Seafoam Green in it (which I love), unlike the stock pic of the model, which photographed as straight up blue...

Very Nice!

I'm curious about the string spacing, though. I was comparing your numbers to those on my Wide Agile. Same between-string spacing, mine are a little more on some strings, even. But my E to E inside measurement is more like 1 7/16, if that much (?). Recording error?

Looks great. Abalone looks good and ties in well with that version of oceanburst (it has varied some from batch to batch, sometimes more green, sometimes big white burst in center, all good, but that matches really well)

Looks great . The abalone plays well with the finish. My oceanburst is the same way seafoamy that photos as blue.my 3010 weighs the same as the 3100 and my 2500 all mahogany weighs 2 pounds more. Enjoy it looks like a winner.

Just double checked my E to E distance for you, and it measures just as listed above -- 1-9/16" (39.7 mm) -- which is why I thought it might be illuminating were I to share all these numbers, as I noticed some don't match up with the info on certain online product pages. I guess there are variations on the production line that perhaps don't almost make it to info posted on the website. Oh, and as far as I know, this is the factory nut as it was originally cut.

Great finish, but everything on your 3100 is backwards!

LOVE the cream knobs! I don't know why mfrs don't provide them on guitars with cream plastics. They provide black knobs with black plastics, so why not cream?

I'd be very happy with either of those colors but it is a little unsettling that in NO WAY are those the same colors. That is not a good way to sell guitars if you also offer a free return if not as advertised/happy.

Well, I was fortunate with this Agile in that it was local to me and I was able to check it out up close and personal, but boy, yeah, I once bought an AL-3100MCC SFG online and discovered upon arrival -- an experience memorialized at the old AGF board -- that its supposed "Sea Foam Green" finish was much more like "Dollar Margaritas," if you know what I mean; and, sure, some folks might like that color, but I'm not among their number.

She's beautiful! Congrats!

I ordered an oceanburst AL3100MCC a couple years ago that turned out to be just about teal green. It's still a beautiful instrument, and plays GREAT, but it didn't look anything like the picture, which was kind of a sky blue burst at the time. I don't know if he is still using the same picture or not.

Congrats on a great score. Good old Rondo and their infamous picture quality. I dig the green tint a little better myself.

The color difference for the same name is amazing. And I'm classified as color blind

The one Lacking Talent got is not the one he linked to above, but this one: https://www.rondomusic.com/AL3010SEocea ... lame1.html

Rondo had separate listings for the guitars despite both listing the same finish "name"...so no one was really misled or expected one color and got a totally different one far as I can see. When you ordered that guitar, you got that finish. Kurt is pretty known for goofs in descriptions :).
