I found a SX strat on GC's used gear supposed to be in good condition for $79 couldn"t pass it up. I was looking in my parts bins and I have a set of locking tuners a TUSQ XL nut Guitar Madness premium pups so I may mod it and see how much I can get for it.

I saw that on GC too! I just couldn't connect with the color. Great price though.

Looking forward to seeing it.

Got the SX strat from GC today only trouble is that it's a 3/4 strat they forgot to mention that so I guess I'll be returning that via our local GC tomorrow.

Perhaps their Internal Department of Investigative Operational Technical Schisterings, a.k.a.,...I.D.I.O.T.S., can get to the bottom of how this happened.

Wow, that's not a good thing for GC to not list! While I like having a short scale guitar for couch noodling, I think the SX shorties have a 1-1/2" nut that'd be too narrow for me. I'd bet nobody noticed it was a short scale because it's lefty so they didn't pick it up.

Not a lefty I bought one of these for my Granddaughter 2 or 3 years ago it was her 1st guitar. Good little guitar but not what I was looking for.

Oh. Then I think we saw 2 different SX Strats at the same price at GC then, LOL. If not a lefty, that's one less excuse for GC to have used in not listing it as short-scale.redman wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 12:30 pmBatUtilityBelt wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 12:18 pm Wow, that's not a good thing for GC to not list!
