Probably the finest guitar in my small collection or at least a CLOSE SECOND to my PRS Red Flame Maple Single Cut Hollow Body.

Bought this over 10 years ago. Blue Quilt top, Graphtec Bridge, Bone Nut, Ebony Board, Nickel Plated PUP Covers..check out the Binding!

Just pulled it out of "The Vault"...always felt of all the Agiles he ever sold, these were "The Sleepers". I rarely see one for sale.

If memory serves correctly, it was the LAST ONE Kurt had and I snagged it for $425 with case and shipped to FL.

He had another series which were identical EXCEPT the Headstock was Quilted just like the body but THEY ARE VERY RARE.

I would love to get my hands on one of those.

Oiled up the Fretboard , total guitar body cleaning and polishing, Nut Sauced, added a TP-6 Tailpiece and a fresh set of Ernie Ball 9s.

Spectacular...plays and sounds like Butta. :)

Very nice & Super clean Image

Thinking of giving my 3200MCC a refresh today.

When you mentioned the quilted headstock, I remembered a custom 3200 single cutaway that's been up on the Cary, NC craigslist for the last month. Only one I've ever seen. He's asking $600 with case or swap for a 12 string.

And your post made me think about my AL3000 neck thru. It wasn't very popular since most people who get a neck thru want the shaved heel of a 3200. But I the standard heel on the 3000 neck thru feels more familiar to me.

Maybe I'll take it out of its case and play it a little today

That’s a beauty! All of them. I remember when those blue DC guitars hit the shop and they caused quite a stir. The top of the line guitars really oozed quality from every corner. I originally joined AGF just prior to buying a 2006 AL-3000M from another member. It wowed me so much that I bought the AS-820 and the AS-1000 models later on. I think if I had not satiated my thirst, the DC here would have been added also.

I’ve always regretted not getting an Agile double cut and an Agile AD-201 (I might have that model number wrong - but it was a flat top lp style). That quilted blue top is amazing.

I too wish i had go a nice AD model. I probably wouldnt have gone to 400+ but i think there were a few closeouts i would have been happy to have.
