I hate this thread. They’re stupid cheap, look bitchin and sound good. I’ve never had a reason not to buy one. How long can I hold out?

damn...who made that pickguard? So nice.

I just pulled the stock white guard it came with, taped the edges, and sprayed a couple of coats of blue Kryolon Glitter Blast, let it dry and topped it off with a bunch of spray sealer coats. Pulled the edge tape off, cleaned up the edges and that was it. I’m very pleased with the way it came out, the glitter gives the guard a 3D effect, but not too sparkly at all, looks almost like a textured pearl. I’ve done it on a few other guards.

I may have asked you this before, but is the neck on these like the Furrian (tele) or the Hawk (strat)? Because I adore my Furrian. My Hawk...meh, not so much.

I've not owned a Furrian so I can't compare to that. I do own an older SX Hawk, but it's hard to compare, because the Hawk came with a scalloped neck.

All I know is, I love the neck on my Liquid. I don't love the headstock. But love the way it plays. It is a little chunky, which is what I like.

I'm surprised that there's a real difference between the necks on your guitars. I honestly would have guessed that they're all made to the same specs.

I watched all the videos I could find of the Liquid, when I was trying to decide if I would buy one (analysis paralysis).
Yours was the tipping point. After watching it, I could no longer come up with reasons not to buy it.
