I hear the Douglas and Dauntless lines will be coming back with some really cool basses etc. Shouldn't be long. There were some really nice bass designs that sort of disappeared. Dauntless was kicking ass in the 90s.

Neck is stable . . . . It took a fall, headstock still attached by thick poly finish.
That great rock-n-roll sound . . . . "Party Time! Excellent!"
Perfect for the beginner or intermediate player . . . . Let your kids beat on this one.
Light weight mahogany body . . . . About 12 pounds.
Canadian maple neck . . . . "Passed with flying f****** carpets."
Pickups offer superior output and outstanding treble response . . . . Icepick
High quality humbucker offer superior performance by giving a thicker, fuller sound than single coils . . . Muddy, farty, fuzz bomb.
Back by request . . . Who actually ordered these in the first place?!?
Jumbo frets . . . Railroad tracks.
Advanced order . . . . Should receive sometime between Fall solstice and National Kiss a Ginger Day.

As for "12" at he nut," I'm not even going to go there.
