Lots of AL-3100, 3200's and even a few AD-3200, Harms and Valkyries. Advanced orders coming in after the holidays(early January), but we're all a little old to care about such trifles. More lefty AD-3200 (2) than righties (1)!
Prices are what they are ($500-600). Not the fabulous deals of yesteryear, but you still get good value.

Silver burst AD-3200’s make me want to kill babies. First, why use Gibson inspired finishes on an original guitar, and second, why the ugliest finish Gibson ever came up with?

I saw that the 3200's came up earlier in the week and looks like several 3100's today as well. At least the prices didn't increase from last time he had some posted. Having said that, there are quite a few used AL's on Reverb/Ebay lately that have been sitting for a while. For a time stuff was selling almost immediately and for inflated prices, but now it seems to be slowing down a bit. Perhaps the supply chain issue is peaking or tapering off?

People are going back to work and the buying frenzy has tapered off some. Supply should also start to catch up depending on country of origin. My best guess is a couple months after Chinese New Year, most things in the music world will be reasonably back to normal. The car market should recover next year as well but will take longer. However, I am still forecasting long-term severe shortages of a number of items including common sense, self control, and concern for others. YMMV.

That gold top AD-3200MCC P90 (P100) is the last guitar I bought from Rondo, and is only $50 more than I spent. It is by far my favorite Agile/SX, and I only wish it had SS frets so I could play it to death. But your mileage may vary.

I don't seem to be on Rondo's mailing list anymore. The last time Kurt put out an email blast, I didn't get one, and I didn't get this one either....

I usually keep my opinions about silver burst finishes to myself, but since you mentioned it; I think it's an abominable finish, second only to Antigua. Silver burst looks like the kind of finish you do if you only found two cans of paint in the garage, and you don't have any money.
Not a big fan of Fiesta Red, either, but I don't want to go off on a tangent.

I am not really a fan of silverburst either, and yes it does somewhat give one the urge to grab a can of black and finish the job.
Having said that, there is something special about an actual GIbson LP Custom silverburst that has aged and faded to that greenish/yellow/silver. I'd never buy one but they are fun to look at

Yeah... that looks even worse to me.
It's just not my thing.
Every time I see a picture of a silver burst, I think it's a black and white photo for the first 3.5 seconds. The world is full of color, there's no reason to have a grey-scale guitar (don't even get me started about the Brent Mason Telecaster). I don't even like black guitars anymore... Though I own two (a Tele and a Jazz Bass), I don't want any more. If a guitar only comes in black, then I move on.

For me black guitars just seem to evoke cheapness. I think it's years of checking Craigslist and seeing hundreds of black Squier Strats for sale ..always looking cheap' and sad, with swirl marks and likely the first guitar for some kid who picked it up half a dozen times and lost interest. Hate em..and hate Antigua ...wtf was Fender thinking with that one.. And while we're at it..when people would jump at just about anything in Candy Apple red, why does Fender insist in foisting Fiesta red on us instead....don't even start me on the 'tribal finishes..oye ve

Yeah, especially a black guitar with a white pickguard. That looks the
cheapest. Given that most bottom-tier guitars usually come in your choice of: black, white and obnoxiously bright red, I'd bet that black is far away the most popular option, and that's why you see more used ones.
Candy Apple Red is my absolute favorite solid-color finish for a guitar. So much so that I've become a little fussy about what I consider a legit CAR. I don't really care for
any of Fender's other red finishes. Brits like Fiesta Red because Hank Marvin, and Americans like Fiesta Red because it's a traditional, old Fender color, and one of the first (if not
the first) custom colors. There's the (potentially apocryphal) story about George Fullerton testing Fiesta Red on a Jazzmaster body, and getting laughed at by the Fender staff, with Don Randall saying: "Who would want a colored guitar? Especially a
red one?".
I just think it looks like tomato soup. I don't like Dakota Red either. Too bright. But I can understand them offering Fiesta. That color has been absent for a long time, and a lot of people have been asking for it. CAR is a more common finish, and it's more labor intensive, because you basically have to paint the guitar twice (first metallic gold or silver, then the trans red "candy" coat), so Fiesta is a cheaper option and they know they'll sell a butt-load of them.
I can't really remember the last time Fender offered CAR as a factory-run color, though. So maybe it will make a comeback soon. We're probably going to see Surf Green go away for a while. They've been using that color (and variations of it) for a while now. It won't stay the "Million Dollar Color" if it's available all the time. I remember about 10 years ago or so, you hardly ever saw Surf Green or Seafoam Green. It's all cyclic.

The problem is that at my age there aren't too many color cycles left in me ! Thanks for the history/detail on the reds , didn't know any of it.

Take a seat, this is gonna take minute.
I think it is preference. I know, profound, but bear with me. I don't care for black guitars myself but it doesn't mean I don't like them. To me it's like a suit or western hat or boots or military uniform.
People who don't feel comfortable wearing a cowboy hat don't look comfortable and you can tell, but someone who does feel comfortable in a cowboy hat looks comfortable and you can tell.
Carry on.

Agree, Piano Black LP Custom style is the Tuxedo of guitars.
The regular cheap looking Black strat can also be easily changed with a touch of style

They all still look nice, but I believe Kurt has put this brand to close to some other offerings from established Co.'s, with still only a small loyal following. I'm glad I bought mine when I did, will not be buying any more in the future. But the ones I did buy were the best value of any of the guitars I own.
Cheers

Red and Black, yeah, everyone have their taste. In case I´d have to choose one - a gift, or whatever -, I´d prefer a black Lp over a black Strat, but if I could choose another color, I would.
The only red I like - and not on guitars - is Trocadero Red, like in those
:
Now, regarding Rondo´s inventory, I´m glad that Tobacco AL3200 is still showing - in WIDE! Yes!
-. The other one I´d be tempted with is the AL3200 Light Blue Quilt DAMN WIDE, but it begs for a black plastics kit IMHO, for some contrast.
As for the AD3200s, those two finishes are not my thing. As much as I love AD3200s, if I were to buy any, it would be the AL3200 Tobacco or Blue Quilt.
But yes, Rondo´s page looks somewhat like in the old times.

Black LPs do look great and better than black strats
to me. No particular reason, I just don´t like black in guitars.
That´s why there are that many colors to choose

I have a little bit of regret for not picking up the AL2000's that were being blown out at $189 Christmas, about 10 years ago.

I was thinking more of Fender-style guitars looking cheap in black. Not so much an LP. I still think it's a boring color, though. When I was younger, black was my first choice for a guitar finish, but it's just played out for me now.
