IIRC, your Tele has a maple fretboard, I've got its Strat brother. After sitting half apart on the dining room table for the last six months, I finally got around last weekend to upgrading the pickups to Fender Fat 50s. I'm going to try and get it restrung this afternoon:. Someday, one of us will have to sell theirs to the other so the matching pair is complete

Yeah, although mine has the new headstock so it is more of a half brother from the 2nd marriage kind of sibling

MGR seems to price things pretty reasonably and almost always seems to have a few cool rondo products available. I did call one of the individual stores directly once and they were willing to work out an actual shipping cost deal, but that was a long time ago. And to be honest, shipping prices have gone way up too just like anything so i woudln't expect too much less unless you are in close proximity

The SX headstock shape seems to be pretty fluid. I have Tele models with three different styles and a couple different ones for Strats and Liquids too:

I muchly prefer the one on the left in your (right side up) pic with two in it.
Perhaps that is why it is the one on all my SX's ??? (Except for my GG7!)

Yes, they are pretty great. I got a smoking deal on my Taylor 414CE, it has a few dings and a couple small cracks in the back that were easily repaired. Basically 1/2 the cheapest I have seen used anywhere. It plays better than any one I have picked up off the wall to noodle on at the very nice guitar shop that sell Taylors and actually keeps them properly setup and not just humidified like most Guitar Centers.
They also held my Epiphone VJ head for like a month until I could pick it up when I went to training in the Atlanta area. They somehow get so much more really quality used guitars through the shop that never even make it online too.
There is just something psychological about paying over 60% of the price of a used guitar for shipping that makes me balk at buying this.
I wish they had one near me.

The ash SX series was always my favorite.
I still have mine, I believe I have 6.
Ash Tele
Strat with maple
Strat with rosewood
SJM
Limited edition ash strat
PJ bass
I have 2 of the ash SJMs actually and will part with one eventually but 1 of them is a little damaged.

I have no idea why but every picture i upload is displayed either 90 or 180 degrees off but when you click to enlarge, it displays properly...

I've got 1 bound neck like the new Hawk (trans blue ash), it sits unused because I installed the Agile ST neck I got from @nrussell23 on the trans blue Hawk. It is a reverse headstock, but it is the "good" one. Same as the Agile TC630 that I swapped on a rosewood fretboard neck.
I also have the Constellation series SX headstock on my Leo, my 2nd favorite. I still have the nuclear orange tinted SST62 neck I took off my LPB SST62 that had received the stripped naked maple neck off my pepto pink SST SE.
Unfortunately they all pale in comparison to this one I stupidly sold. The only reason I kept the new headstock on my ash tele is that the neck is the closest thing I have owned to this dearly departed part of Rondo history.

I've never seen that model before, how long ago was it that they were around?

quite a time ago, 2008-2011 per the waybackmachine, I think Kurt ended up blowing them out, it wasn't near as attractive initially.
