I like it because of the Damn Wide nut width. I don´t mind the b-stock issues at all. Still available. $300

Others with more Rondo-specific experience probably know better than me (paging @tobijohn), but I can't imagine you're going to see $300 b-stocks of any AL-3X guitars ever again. Whether it's worth it is up to you, but I don't think there will ever be a lower price for that guitar unless you catch someone trying to get rid of a used model.

Yeah, "too much" is a very relative term these days. Based on what used Agiles are selling for on reverb/ebay/CL and the somewhat unique/rare damn-wide feature I would say it's still a decent deal if you are looking for one.

Yes, I titled the thread "Too much?" because I´m not that experienced in buying ALs over the years - zero experience, actually -.

For me, as I like wide necks at the nut, I like it, and providing I´d have those three bills to my disposal, I´d get it right away. That would be a little unfaithfull to my eternal love for AL3200s, but there´s no "Damn Wide" option on them.

Based on what Kurt has said about rising production costs, the supply chain issues and the narrowing of the price difference between it and AL-3100/3200MCC, I think we've seen the last of the AL-3010SEs. This one was probably a return buried in the back of the warehouse that was discovered while doing busy work because business is so slow (there was an unusual custom lefty 12 string AD-2500 C-stock a few weeks ago that was probably on the same stack of returns) There's a pre-order lefty wavy bodied Valkyrie up for $500 when the sort-of real thing Epiphone SG is available for $450 shipped.

All of that and with used pricing up dramatically, I'd say $300 is a pretty good price. I 'd have no problem paying that if it was a lefty,,,

I do remember him having these posted not too long ago, I think there were like 3-4 of them available in the last round of stragglers that came in before the canal got blocked ;-)

I do have to say that while purely cosmetic, the hazed finish and pretty wonky logo are not minor. Hopefully it's an outlier and not a harbinger of things to come QC wise.

This thread helped me on learning new words: "harbinger" and "stragglers". Thanks @uwmcscott . Also, in the Atomic Amplifire thread, I got to learn another word, "rue", by @tobijohn .

Yeah, a Damn Wide lefty would be pretty unique in the Agile realm...

I have a few Wides but no Damn Wides. I only recall one lefty model:

Yeah, that´s why a DW lefty would be very rare. You didn´t grab that one? too bad...

IIRC, the matte finish didn't do it for me...
