Considering the traffic down that way, what is that like 5 or 10 miles.
Seriously, I've long thought Jupiter was like suburban Titusville???

Either having Agiles is a pretty good position, and @tobijohn might be sitting on a gold mine, or the world has lost it. Every one I see on Reverb is overpriced or abused beyond restoration. And GC is even crazier than Reverb in that regard. I only look at their lefties, but GC has 3, all of which I consider well beyond their realistic worth...

A Valkyrie for $540.99: https://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/Agile ... -Guitar.gc
Image

That ST we already mentioned before is still there for $300.99: https://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/Agile ... -Guitar.gc
Image

An AL-2000 for $449.99: https://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/Agile ... -Guitar.gc
Image

Now they're probably all good guitars, but nobody's buying at these prices. And I'm one of the people who can't even remember how many Agiles I bought used from GC. Only time will tell if it's just an effect of a weird economy or the brand itself is increasing value with rarity.

If I could get for mine what GC is asking these days, I would be sitting on a gold mine but I don't think they're selling at those prices.

I'll bet that Valkarie was from that last batch of four lefties that Kurt labeled C-stocks because they supposedly had intonation problems (but really didn't). Both @honyock and I bought one and I think he just sold his for $375 (IIRC, they went for $125-$175).

I've been watching that ST for either a realistic price reduction or ninety days from the listing date when it can then be negotiated. It's not like i need another Strat but that model is relatively rare as is the solid body Agile Telecaster. I know there are left handed models but I haven't seen one in the used market..

IIRC the Agile ST's came with REAL Duncan pickups. If that is correct, it is probably worth the asking price? But I still think that one is butt fugly!

I didn't know about the SDs, the few old product listing pages I found didn't mention them but certainly, a couple batches could have come that way.

As for the looks, it's not so much about that for me, it's more like stamp collecting...

Incidentely, as I mentioned before, there were four of those Valkyrie C-stocks, I've got one, @honeyock just sold his, there's another one still on eBay/Reverb and the one above at GC. There might have been a previous lot with that finish, but I suspect these are the C-stocks and everyone who bought one other than me is cashing in...

Didn't sell mine, originally posted it to drive down the prices people were asking, didn't even offer shipping at first, but then had so many watchers, thought I might as well try to sell it for real.

Moved it over to eBay when I posted my CV70s strat, gonna keep myself under the B.S. 1099-K statement limit since the government decided to misuse that 1950's tax code nugget...

May put it back on Reverb even lower if/when it fails to sell on eBay.

Wow, yeah, that's a hell of a markup. It does look like the same series to me.

Interesting, Reverb's language suggests that it sold "Looks like someone already grabbed this gear!". Before, it would indicate whether the listing expired or actually sold, I guess not anymore.

FWIW, they're listed for $600 on the Rondo website and Reverb which might be a tough sell as the Epiphone SG Inspired by Gibson models are going for $500 and free shipping on all the big box sites. TheEpi has better pickups too (Alnico Classic Pro)...

Not totally in the wild (it’s actually in my dining room) but at least in action. 😃

We hosted a party yesterday and the jam session was a hit! These are buddies I jam with once every couple months or so. We aren’t great, but we’re decent. And the joy we get from playing is priceless.

Kurt priced himself out of the SG market sometime go when Epiphone started to kick his butt. :)

I’d all but forgotten about Britny Fox.
The singer had that Tom Keifer style of voice.
I wonder how his voice has held up over the years.

Also, that mother of toilet seat Agile and LP are cool.

The lead guitarist and drummer in Britny Fox were previously in Cinderella...

Now here's an AL-3200mcc in a color you don't see every day, I don't even know what it's called. It's not oceanburst is it? Lizard burst? Nice color.

A bit pricey esp for GC used at 599. This is one is kinda right by me in Birmingham.
